Anthony's Italian Deli
The Best and Most Authentic Italian binary options training eatery in all of Baton Rouge!. Located at 5575 Government Street and open for over 30 years it has been a staple for those in the know. Try their spaghetti & meatballs, or one of their homemade sandwiches. Like their Famous pressed Muffaletta made with authentic Italian meats, cheese, and with home made Italian olive mix, you will certainly be a regular there too!

They have daily specials that will astound your senses and bring your tastebuds home to Tuscany. Been a huge fan of Anthony's for years. I first tried Anthony's after reading a restaurant critique in the "Fun Section" of the Advocate newspaper. Best Italian sandwiches I ha. The BEST Italian sandwiches in the country!

First time ! Moved here from Texas. Found this place while in the area. This will be on our favorites list for sure. Great atmosphere, real Italian food. The lasagna and spaghetti were amazing. The bread is also amazing. Can't wait to come back and try the sandwiches! Thanks !

The best sandwiches in town. Baton Rouge has a serious No-Jewish-Deli problem on its hands, and, while this isn't a Jewish deli, the exact opposite, it's still putting out the best sandwiches and salads. The Godfather ‍

I came here today for a lunch date with my son. I ordered the Limoncello cake to go and it was soooo delicious. My new favorite cake .

43 years later, I still need my Italian Lover fix. When Anthony was working the counter on Coursey Blvd., I would order the sandwich with that name and he would answer "Here I am!' He's not behind the counter on Government Street, but sometimes Miss Marie is (she got off a plane today and headed straight there and I got to put eyes on her) and the sandwich still makes my taste buds smile. I needed that today(Hurricane Ida evacuation from NOLA), so thanks to all the friendly staff in Anthony's.

This might be the best sandwich in Baton Rouge. Definitely the best Italian deli sandwich in Baton Rouge. The staff is very welcoming, and it feels like a true Italian deli experience. Must try.

Never disappointed at Anthony's! I'm not a huge olive salad person, so I go for the Italian lover sandwich and it's the perfect mix of meats. There's tons of Italian favorites there and even some you can take home to eat later.

Best lasagna in town!! The sauce was perfect, not too sweet. The bread is fantastic too! It comes with a small salad with a homemade dressing that I really enjoyed. Sat outside on a beautiful day.

I've loved in BR all of my life. How am I just now trying this place? The sandwhiches are amazing. The cannoli blew me away. This is a must stop place in Baton Rouge.

My wife's friend told her this is the best mufaletta in town. The sign out front says so, too. And it IS really good. Different than others I've had. The bread is nice and toasty (appears to have been mashed in a press) and there is a bit of spicy red pepper in the olive salad. Gives it a nice kick. Not the thickest layer of meat you can get, but plenty enough to fill you up.

(Can't speak to service and atmosphere except to say that drive through service during the coronavirus quarantine is quick and easy. I hope to be back another time and try some other menu items - even if

I found out about Anthony's Deli through my roommate who told me about their famous muffulettas. I always been a huge fan of muffulettas in general so I had to give this place a try. The service was outstanding, very friendly, and informative about any questions you had about the menu. I got the muffulettas and all I could say was wow! The different meats along with the cheese and the olive salad was total harmony in my mouth. The bread itself was soft and truly complimented the sandwich with all the good stuff inside. I also got their Tiramisu which I have to say was easily the best I had

We were visiting Baton Rouge for our anniversary and to watch the Bama vs LSU game of the century. We live in Alabama, so we were in enemy territory. My wife has bragged many times about the food she had growing up in Baton Rouge at Anthony's Deli. We met her BFF and her husband and daughter. The atmosphere at Anthony's set the tone right away. It was spotless, warm and inviting and expertly decorated to help bring you to Italy. The owners and other employees immediately spotted our Bama attire and in true LSU style let the good times roll. They were so much fun making comments

Solid Italian food at Anthony's! We came because we heard they had the best muffulettas in BR, which definitely could be the case! They were delicious. They serve them warm, which was different than other places. We ended up trying a few other dishes, such as the lasagna and the Italian sausage. All the food was solid and pretty authentic! We will be back for sure.

This was our first stop at Anthony's Italian Deli. It has a very eclectic vibe with lots of it's history hanging on the walls. It's a family owned business, and we loved the feel. There appeared to be many regulars there, which I viewed as a good sign.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food, and all looked good to me. We decided to split a muffuletta. First, it is absolutely HUGE. I could only eat about 1/4 of a total sandwich, and we had to bring some home. The taste is awesome, and the cheese was melted perfectly. I'd get it again anytime I'm in the mood for

The muffulettas here are the BEST in Louisiana. Sorry New Orleans, but we've tried them all and these are without question the best. No contest. Being from Southern Louisiana, we grew up eating these wonderful Italian sandwiches. These tangy olive, provolone, mortadella, ham, and salami 8" round warmed sandwiches. The bread is made from an old family recipe and cannot be matched. The lasagna is fabulous and the tiramisu is the perfect finish. Call ahead 15 minutes for pickup. The stand alone restaurant is usually busy. It's a regional favorite. Highly recommend this casual place
