Core Balance Movement was founded by Melissa Poplaski, certified Massage Therapist and Movement Therapist with 20 years experience in Pilates, Yoga, Strength and Conditioning. When you do Pilates with Melissa, you place yourself on a road to good health. I am about to turn 84 years young and have been doing Pilates since the year 2000 when my back had me in constant pain. This summer I did Pilates three times a week, an hour each day. What a lucky woman am I! Try it. Core Balance and Melissa are absolutely fantastic.
Achieve your goal(s), whether it is to gain definition, build stronger muscles, increase stamina, improve balance and flexibility, boost cardiovascular endurance, lose weight or increase bone density. Our training sessions are either 55-minutes or 90-minutes based on individual issues, goals, and injuries.

Core Balance Movement has helped hundreds of people from all walks of life tackle these symptoms for the past 20 years by using movement therapy as medicine to heal the body.

Melissa is a very friendly, caring and approachable person who immediately makes you feel welcome and at ease. She takes your aches and pains very seriously and monitors your progress diligently. One thing I like best about her is that she provides helpful insight and reasons why things go wrong and targets the source of the pain. Because unless you deal with the source, the pain will be recurrent. I highly recommend Melissa and her professional services.

I've known Melissa for a few years now and one thing I noticed about her is she is always striving to learn more about the human body, mobility and recovery. She is a great person to know for all sorts of pain management, injuries, recovery and maintaining peak longevity for your body and joints. Definitely recommend for traditional type approaches and also more alternative ones.

I have been rowing for almost 25 years and Melissa is the best coach and trainer I've ever had. She helped me understand how to engage my core to protect my back. She helped me identify stretches that would alleviate pain and keep me moving with comfort and fluidity. She was able to break down my stroke and identify which muscles to engage to solve inefficiencies in my stroke. I'm a much better rower and a much better athlete thanks to Melissa. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to move better, understand their body better, and continue to gain athletic ability at any age.

I have been to Core Balance movement to get help with my neck injury. I was in alot of pain and had migraines. After having treatment ive had such great results. Even after treatment i had personal follow up and home care. I am super happy with the proffesional service and medical knowledge. So pleased i found CBM.
