Glen Taylor raced several years with the APBA (American Power Boat Association) and was a National Champion in the outboard drag racing class. Glen Taylor has been around boats his whole life and started dabbling in mechanical work on them as a young boy working for his father, Ernest T. Taylor, who had his own independent boat shop.

Bought a used motor from Glenn to have a more reliable motor on an old boat I refurbed for my granson. The one year warranty he gave won me over. When I gave it a sea trial the motor had a strange knock , Glenn listened and then took the lower end apart trying to find the knock. He replaced some parts and i took the boat to FL for the winter. The knock was still there and finally the motor ceased. Told Glenn and he said bring it in as soon as I returned. Glen replaced the powerhead and the trim and tilt that he noted was not working properly. He got the boat back to me just prior to the 4th holiday

I have been doing business with Glenn for 17 years. He has worked on all my boats with absolute perfection! A genius in his field. I read this other review and seems confusing to me, since I did refer the person to Prescision. I know what was fixed was perfect. I know what was not fixed was not so perfect. If you do not fix what Glenn says needs to be fixed then you might have problems!

Was recommended by a friend when I needed to re-power. First quote $8000.00. I felt it was a good deal. Then he calls me after a 50% deposit that he needs to talk to me. Says I need $800 in additional parts, and does the price go up $800. Nope. Then it’s gonna be $2000 grand more. “Ok but I don’t want to exceed the $10,000.00 mark. Everything is supposedly on pace. I go to key west, get back, boats supposed to be ready. He recommends another bilge pump. Only about $176. Ok, but I don’t want to go much higher than the $10,000.00.
