Services
At Red Oak Recovery, our men's program is a clinician-run treatment program located in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains, just north of Asheville N.C. Our women's program, The Willows at Red Oak Recovery, is located just south of Asheville on a beautiful and serene rolling landscape. Our executive team oversees day-to-day operations and have their input on all strategic decisions.
Red Oak Recovery is constantly striving to improve and adapt our addiction treatment programs to assure the highest quality, most effective services are being delivered to our clients and families.

As part of this continuing effort, for more than seven years, Red Oak Recovery is participating in a comprehensive state-of-the-art therapeutic outcome study with the Center for Research, Assessment, and Treatment Efficacy (CReATE) and the University of Arkansas at the Arkansas Institute of Developmental Science and the Intervention Sciences Laboratory.
Red Oak Recovery provides individualized, gender-specific addiction treatment programs to young adults ages 18 to 30. We deliver clinically dynamic care designed to help young adults and their families recover, grow and make lasting lifestyle changes. The young adult rehab programs at Red Oak Recovery are like no other.
The road to recovery is one an individual will travel for the rest of their life. Some days are easier than others, but constant vigilance is necessary for success. However, there is always the possibility of relapsing at any point during this journey. Often, those who suffer a relapse feel shame, disappoint, and guilt.
We are so grateful our daughter had the opportunity to be at Red Oak Recovery. She had struggled for the last couple of years in an abusive relationship that led to alcohol abuse and destructive behavior. She has lost her way through life. She tried several different addiction treatment programs in her pursuit of healing and wholeness.

If you’re struggling with addiction this place is better than going to most rehab clinics in America, and it’s not a mental health institution. The guides are great people, and they are underqualified, underpaid and overworked. There is a total lack of leadership from the management and they are not capable of taking care of there staff, much less the clients. They gaslighted my family, and this program didn’t help me at all. I feel like my family deserves a refund.

My son attended Red Oak this past spring. Our whole family was impacted by his addiction. Red oak helped both him and us heal. It was a difficult choice to have him leave home but I am glad he did. Our therapist was amazing and he still talks about his time there. Grateful is an understatement!

My cousin went to Red Oak a few months ago and I believe it saved his life. While I was nervous about having him away from home, I quickly realized how much better it was for him to have a little distance (we are from the DC area) and also how much the people there truly care. He made SO much progress and he continues to do well. Thank you for all your support and all the life changing work you do!

Red Oak Recovery is a wonderful place. Our family found healing and balance through our son's time there. He and I were just speaking about the therapist he worked with, and remembering how excellent he was, kind, direct, perceptive. We hold Red Oak in highest esteem, and are so thankful for the support they provided at a really tough moment in life.

I stayed at Red Oak for roughly 75 days. This place saved my life. The campus is extremely beautiful and therapeutic. The care is very individualized and productive. Administration actively interacts with clients and receives feedback on areas to improve. I felt heard and respected by staff. The pros i could list for Red Oak are endless. They offer so many different opportunities to better your recovery and yourself overall. I love the culture there so much so i am considering working there in the near future. If you’re on the fence.. give RedOak a try!

I have had the opportunity to work alongside the Red Oak clinical staff as an employee and as a referent.
Their clinical work is among the best I've had the good fortune to work with. In my opinion, Red Oak is the top choice in the southeast for the young adult and adolescent populations struggling with addiction and co occurring disorders.

My nephew went to This place it is flat out awful. They will lie to you say that they have Sonos or ways to listen to music when in reality theirs none of that or any way to contact outside people like gf bf or family members the facility's are terrible and half the time not even in the right shape or ready for use. They take your passport making it almost impossible to leave on your own accord with the money you are paying you can get better service and facility's theirs maybe 2-3 licensed therapist for 45-50 people while everyone else is in training getting paid minimum wage. first

Red Oak may seem like a perfect fit for your son, but don’t let them fool you. These people are money hungry. After completion of the program, my family and I regret our decision and were lied to MULTIPLE times before, during, and after my stay. Don’t be fooled

I've worked in the substance abuse treatment/mental health field for over 35 years, and at Red Oak Recovery for 4 and a half years. Red Oak continues to be the place to be for me. I've had several positions, have seen many people (besides myself) come here, work hard, move up in the company, and find their niche. I honestly think that administration cares about the clients, the staff, and make decisions based on the greater good. I honestly can say that I love Red Oak and being part of this team!!

My employment with Red Oak is and has been an exceptional experience. It's not only an amazing job, it's a close family. Red Oak takes care of their Clients and of their employees with the upmost pride and dignity. The Red Oak Crew is a team made up of dedicated, hard working, and educated individuals that are here to make a difference in peoples lives.
