The CAT'N NINE TAIL Country Store is a York Maine mainstay. Located on Route 1 in Cape Neddick Village this convenience store is a staple in the community and has a stellar reputation. Great prepared food, regular lunch crowd, robust inventory and the ONLY convenience store on the South bound side of Route 1 from the Wells Ogunquit line all the way to the I-95 on ramp in York.
South Berwick is a vibrant, mid-size community located on the New Hampshire border and is one of the faster growing communities in Maine. With its rural New England village setting, proximity to Boston MA, Portsmouth NH, Portland ME, and the joy of Maine living, South Berwick is 'the way life should be'.
The Town of Wells, "referred to as the Friendliest Town in Maine, " was named by its early settlers for the cathedral city of Wells in Somerset, England, and is at the center of coastal southern Maine, north of Ogunquit and just south of Kennebunk. From pastoral Drake's Island to beautiful Moody Beach, the majestic Maine shoreline sweeps in a crescent, bordering the Atlantic with sandy beaches, rocky promontories and picturesque salt marshes.
According to legend, Ogunquit was named by the Abenaki tribe, because the word means "beautiful place by the sea". Ogunquit is a small, bustling resort town located along the southeastern seaboard of York County between York, and Wells. Both the town and Perkins Cove retain the charm of a bygone era when artists and fishermen made their living here.
