Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Bartlett, and Dr. Bell have always aimed to provide cutting-edge orthodontic treatment by keeping up with the latest orthodontic research and implementing the most advanced technology in their practice. As a result, they were invited by Ormco, a leading orthodontic supply company and the manufacturer of Damon braces, to take part in their Insiders group.
If you have visited our Greensboro office, you may not be surprised that those lyrics have been my theme song since I first saw Lyle Lovett perform in 1992. Or you may have wondered why the office has a seemingly schizophrenic mixture of beach theme and horse art. I grew up in South Florida as the daughter of two teachers, one of whom was a marine biologist.
When Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Bartlett contacted me and indicated their desire to dedicate a page on this website to Gary, I was so touched. I am thankful every day that these two fine doctors have cared for Gary's patients and for this practice. Gary worked very hard to establish this practice. He worked his way through college and dental school with grants, loans, scholarships, and lots of part-time jobs.
Mitchell, Bartlett, & Bell Orthodontics is excited to announce our annual MB2ortho Essay Scholarship Contest! The past year has posed many challenges for students and families. What has been the biggest obstacle that you have had to overcome and by doing so, what have you learned about yourself? MBB will award a $1,000 scholarship* to a patient who is currently in treatment or has completed treatment with our practice.

After my daughter's first few adult teeth came in it was obvious she would need braces. the more teeth that came in the worse it got. Before even half of them were in the dentist told us that the situation had gone from cosmetic concern to medical necessity. Before going to Mitchell, Bartlett and Bell we were advised that, in addition to the orthodontic work, up to four teeth would need to be removed to make room and that even after that she would probably still need surgery to lengthen her jaw. it was so bad that her bottom front teeth were digging into the roof of her mouth.

I am still in disbelief that this is now my smile! I have gone my whole life missing my lateral incisors and therefore I had space between my front teeth and beside my canines. For years I was told that my only option was implants and that broke my heart feeling like there wasn't any other alternatives for me. Dr. Bell very confidently told me that I could do traditional braces without the need for implants due to the position my teeth were in at the time. Dr. Mitchell and Team have done it again! 2nd daughter through braces and not once during either did we have a complaint. From start to finish with both girls, our expectations were met. We were told what to expect and there was always consistent follow through. Our girls did what was asked of them and stayed on track throughout treatment.

My daughter is about halfway through her treatment and we have had a good experience here. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. We consulted with a few orthodontists before selecting. We liked Dr. Bartlett and his plan for treatment. The cost here was comparable to others. I think it was about $600 more, but we felt most confident with this practice.

Not knowing what to expect when we started this adventure, the staff has been extremely accommodating and helpful from day 1. From the front desk (who have been more than pleasant EVERY visit) to the folks working on the orthodontics in the back (explaining what was done "this visit", what the girls can expect until "next visit", and where we are located in the adventure) there have been no questions unanswered. Highly recommend this group for their services.

MB&B Orthodontics are the best! Making appointments is easy - they always try to work around my schedule. And we are always seen promptly when we do have an appointment. Then there is Dr. Mitchell herself. Her manner, communication skills, and the treatment she provides is outstanding. Dr. Mitchell is a total professional, and I cannot overstate how much we appreciate her, and her clinic as a whole.

I couldn't imagine going anywhere else but here. Everyone is so amazing and friendly. As soon as u step through the door the warmth of the office surrounds you. Everyone is so personable and it just amazes me how fast treatment seems to fly. November 2018 will be one year in my adult braces and it feels like I just got them on. I look forward to my appointments I just wish they were more frequent 😂. Thank you all for everything !
