The septic needs of the local community have been met whether it was a residential, commercial, or an industrial need. Zook's was started by Josh Zook in 1988 and was named Zook's Liquid Hauling.
He started providing the service to the local farmers by hauling their manure. Then he started serving the residents of the community with their septic needs. In 2013 Jonathan Hummel of Middleburg purchased the business, and in 2017 Jonathan changed the name from Zook's Liquid Hauling to Zook's Septic Services.

Zook's is hands down one of the easiest companies to work with. They are always punctual and have no problem with a phone call about questions and concerns. Super polite people and the only company I would call for anything septic related weather it be installing a new system or just cleaning the tank out. I highly recommend them and will be a long time customer.

We had the opportunity to engage Zook's for service at two different properties including repair/upgrade of an outdoor system and waste removal. The driver/operator was prompt, professional and volunteered extra time for problem-solving with one of the systems. He went above and beyond to examine possible problem areas and provide good advice with regard to maximizing the performance of the system going forward. Highly recommend!
