Just a great all-around high-class restaurant. They're not high-class because they are pricey. It's the atmosphere, the lighting, the decor and the confidence and knowledge of the waitstaff. Ask them a question regarding the drinks or food and you'll learn something. Steak was cooked exactly as I desired. Great start to a memorable birthday celebration!

My gentleman and I haven't been out in quite sometime due to overworking and covid issues .
I personally felt rushed by our server (Diner like style) and didn't get same service as another table , Our server only mentioned a few specials. We overheard another server mentioning so much more. We ended up ordering the Wagyu steak as we overheard from other server.
It was good !
A gentleman came to the table asking us if we liked it , I said yes and asked are you the chef he said no and walked away !
Only to find out he is the owner ! Strong customer service skills are needed . I liked

Office Christmas Party. We had a nice private area with buffet table. The assortment of foods was excellent (and very yummy!) - prawns (I believe tempura style), fried chicken sliders, ravioli, Flatbread pizza (margerita) Along with an antipasta and cheese tray and of course dessert (mini creme Brulee, Carrot cake and mini cheesecakes) . Brandywine Prime never disappoints on food or service levels! Definitely recommend!

We went to Brandywine Prime Thanksgiving Day for their turkey menu. They offered a three-couse meal (choice of soup or salad, turkey with gravy and homemade cranberry sauce and sides--green beans, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and stuffing with Italian sausage--and a choice of several desserts) along with fresh bread for around $53. Other than an initial mix-up about our first course (the food runner brought us the wrong food), the service was great. The food was of very high quality, well-prepared and well-presented. The atmosphere was casual yet elegant. It was a lovely dining experience

Service was excellent. Quaint atmosphere. Appetizers were fresh and tasty. Had the porterhouse, rare, steak was tender and perfectly cooked. The only complaint is that the steak was WAY overseasoned. Overall, dinner was great - little overpriced, but if you are looking for a quality experience, the splurge is worth it.

Worst place we've ever been!! Our son took us out for our Anniversary and server had a poor attitude as if we were bothering him and smelled like baked in cigarette smoke and as well as appearance I.e dirty Jeans and Bp shirt. I would have walked out but had to endure because out of respect to our son. I am all about taking care of local business but people should to be kind and courteous because they not only represent themselves but also
The establishment. I would rather go to Antica because their staffs are awesome and goes above and beyond even though I don't typically enjoy Italian

Fantastic dinner at Brandywine Prime last night! Apps, steaks, sides, cocktails, and post-dinner drinks were all delicious. Our server Katie surprised our mother with a birthday candle and specially decorated plate. Such a nice touch! She was so attentive to our tableās needs and did a wonderful job of making sure we had everything we needed. She also made some great recommendations. Everyone we spoke toāfrom the reservation line to the hostess and waitstaff and bartenders were considerate and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, BP!

This was our first visit to this highly esteemed venue. We were greeted by a man in a grey Tshirt and jeans. We explained that it was our first visit. There was barely any eye contact and no warm welcome. We were seated in the "fine"dining section which had dingy booth seating that was visibly soiled. There was chipping paint on the window sill right at table level. there were shabby plastic woven place mats on the table. I was surprised at that since during the time of COVID they would be impossible to sanitize. We were handed the dinner menu and when my husband inquired about ordering

I spent a lot of time looking for a highly rated, local restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day with my husband and just kept coming back to Brandywine Prime. We booked an 8:30 dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I both had the filet mignon, which is offered in 2 sizes. It was cooked perfectly, medium rare and was so tender we didn't even ask for a steak knife. We did ask for salt, but it is just because we always eat our steaks with a finishing salt. It was served with some green beans which were a little crisp

Brandywine Prime has their act together. Total professionals all while making us feel like old friends. Their Covid precautions were sufficient without being suffocating--everyone had masks and tables were properly distanced. The food was so delicious and cocktails were unique. We'll certainly be back next.

Really wanted to like this more. Overall, there was good and bad here:
- Cocktails were great, good beer menu as well; however my wife and I stuck with a martini each tonight. We each liked ours and I am certainly a picky when it comes to a good martini. She had the pumpkin spice martini and loved it. I don't do sweet drinks and stuck with a beefeater martini, very dry and up with a twist. It was perfect.
- French onion soup was good, but not great such as the ones at Four Dogs or Sovana.
- Blue crab dip appetizer was wonderful, with a strong flavor of the actual crabs coming through

I was here once for a bridal shower a few years ago so I'm counting my recent dinner as my first time here. We had dinner here before going to see Longwood Christmas and wanted it to be a special family meal. First I made reservations on Open Table which made it very easy. I confirmed everything online and had no problems when checking in. The food is top tier steakhouse but they do have a few non meat options if you are a non-meat eater like myself.
I HIGHLY recommend the cheese plate and the blue crab balls as an appetizer. Everyone at my table loved them and we all were able to share

My family was visiting from out of town and we wanted a special place to celebrate a birthday and Father's Day. Brandywine Prime was booked up, but the receptionist made an extra effort to find a table for us. Since we have multiple young children in the party, it was important to get service quickly, which they did. They brought food for the kids really quickly, and we were surprised how many of the dishes the kids loved, including the octopus! All in all, my family, which includes a number of foodies, where impressed. We had a range of dishes including a special that had both a dry aged

You can't beat Brandywine Prime. The food and presentation is always top tier. In particular, the Grilled Pacific Octopus is incredible. The octopus is so flavorful and I love the combination of the mustard sauce and salmon roe with it. I order that every time I visit Brandywine Prime but no matter what you order, you can't go wrong.
Most of the time, the service is professional and efficient, although when I went a few weeks ago, our waiter was pretty slow and forgetful. I'm guessing it was just an off night!
Definitely make a reservation, especially on a weekend night.

We hosted a retirement party at this little historic restaurant in a cute little village in the country. The building is ancient and lovely. Parking was tight in their small parking lot.
This is a steak house and decorated in a bovine motif. We reserved the upstairs for our party. Cocktails and appetizers were served in an open area where we could mingle Behr wine was very good. Appetizers included little mushroom pies and another little pie that I could not identify. The mushrooms were delicious.
The staff was friendly and took great care of us. They were very attentive and somehow managed

We found Brandywine prime through yelp. We were in the area looking for a nice place for dinner and this was top of our search. We ordered the fried mozzarella, crab appetizer, and the large filet mignon for a celebration dinner. Though the hostess did not seat us and neither did the first person we asked, eventually another person did and once we sat down and got the food, we were very happy. The food was very good. It seems like a spot that many locals were hanging out at by the bar. I would definitely eat here again.

Back for dinner at Brandywine prime. My mother and I both had french onion soup, it was and hot and yummy. She ordered cioppino stew ...its a seafood stew ...fresh fish, shrimp, scallops. She loved it. I had the special "Wagyu delmonico steak" and BrusselsĀ sprouts with pancetta. The steak might be the BEST steak I have ever had in my life!
The waiter was friendly and informative. The handsome owner came by all the tables and chatted with the guests. I always likeĀ when owners take a moment to talk to their guests. Great dinner choice!
