The goal of the practice has always been to provide the highest quality care for the area's companion animals. Many of our clients feel their furry companions are also members of the family and expect them to be treated as such. Emphasis is placed on preventative wellness care for all pets. Our furry family member's age faster than we do so senior wellness screenings are recommended once the pet reaches 7 years of age.
Our in-house laboratory allows us to have the same day results on routine blood work and urinalysis. This helps the doctor to detect potential disease processes earlier and begin treatment faster. Living in the south, year round flea, tick, and heartworm prevention are strongly encouraged. There are many options for the product.

Services
We offer general exams, annual vaccinations, in house Heartworm/FeLV/FIV testing and diagnosing, and one on one time with your pet's Doctor. We happily provide vaccines for puppies and kittens. Puppies start their vaccines at 6-8 weeks of age. Kittens start their vaccines at 8 weeks of age.
Both puppies and kittens require 3 set of vaccines, not including the initial set of puppy vaccines at 6 weeks of age, to be completely protected from various contagious diseases. While the rabies vaccine is required by law every 1-3 years, we also highly recommend getting booster vaccines once a year along with your rabies vaccine and annual checkup.

All cats are given clean litter pans twice daily and a blanket to curl up on. We feed all animals in our care the Purina Pro Plan line of dog and cat food. We encourage those pets on special diets or with sensitive stomachs, to bring their own food. Pets are on daily medications? We can give any medications they are on during their stay.
Having the ability to run routine blood work in-hospital allows for faster diagnosis of many problems that may be wrong with your pet. This way your pet does not have to wait to start treatment. Earlier diagnosis of liver or kidney disease lets the doctor start treatment faster. Doing a complete blood count shows if your pet may have an infection or is possibly anemic.
Is your pet scheduled to have a surgical procedure performed? Rest assured your pet is in the hands of our well trained staff. While under general anesthesia, using isoflurane, your pets vital sign will be continually monitored. This includes their pulse rate, EKG, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and body temperature.
Do you know the importance of getting your pets teeth cleaned regularly? Dental disease can result in bad breath, painful chewing, and tooth loss. The bacteria associated with periodontal disease can also travel in the bloodstream to infect the heart, kidneys, and liver. A professional dental cleaning removes not only the visible plaque and tartar on the teeth surfaces, but also the bacteria under the gums.

Dr Haas has always taken care of my Zoey and done an amazing job. She checks her out from head to toe and let's me know if she sees anything that needs to be taken care of. I love her clean facility and her sweet and trained staff.

Dr. Haas is one of the few vets I’ve ever met that speaks to you through her whole process. You can tell she deeply cares about her patients and their quality of life. She takes her time and examines the patient holistically rather than treating an issue as if it were standard procedure. She listens to your concerns and actually has a conversation with you rather than listing off clinical issues and letting it be done. I rarely leave a vet’s office feeling like a treatment plan will work for my dog’s chronic allergies and ear infections, but I’ve already seen a drastic improvement in him

I have always loved coming to Haas Animal Hospital! The staff is friendly and Dr. Haas is so good with my dogs! She was also very compassionate (went above and beyond) when it came time to say goodbye to my 16 year old cat. Their prices are very reasonable. I will always use them to take care of my fur babies and to board them. I recommend them 100%.
