We have also been dedicated to educating our customers about "green" construction, sustainable building practices, and low-energy-load homes since the company started.
Our company has been and continues to be actively involved in the development of the Vermont Builds Greener Program which is a state wide voluntary program that certifies homes that have been built green. We have experience in the construction of energy efficient, net-zero energy, super insulated homes, including both passive and active solar homes.

Services
South Farm is a community of award-winning, solar energy homes located just south of Hinesburg Village. The six homes are nestled into a south-facing slope. Each home is designed with a consistency in material so that the homes complement each other and blend into the hillside. We are working with Architect Rolf Kielman of Truex Cullins & Partners with Reiss Building and Renovation to design and build the homes.
Reiss Building is dedicated to moving Vermont towards a more sustainable energy future house by house. Our goal is to get homes off of fossil fuel. The first step towards this goal is the have a comprehensive energy evaluation of your home. Our company is BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified.
