Her practice includes all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution of domestic partnerships, legal separation, parentage actions, child custody, child and spousal support, and property division. Ms Becker and her team are committed to assisting people through some of the most difficult of life's transitions.
Ms Becker provides consultation for those considering the possibility of dissolving their marriage or partnership, or a change in existing child custody or support arrangements. She assists with pre-dissolution planning issues. She also provides consultation services for those in direct negotiation or in the mediation process with another mediator.
In collaboration, each party has an attorney to educate him or her as to rights and options for settlement. The parties, the attorneys, a divorce coach and in some cases a financial planner work together to design and negotiate the best possible outcome for your family. Everyone on the team makes a commitment to complete financial disclosure and to resolve all issues without seeking court intervention.
