Horrible. Do not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff where rude besides a rare few and the nurses gosiped about the patients they intentionally escalated the clients and they make the clients sit it "transition anytime they don't feel like dealing with the kids. They make u hold in your pee for and hour until theirapy groop is over and if u can't hold it in that long then u get a consequence such as getting your phone call with your family taken away. They also taunted kids with the threat they would get their phone call taken away when manny of these kids have RAD' radical attachment

I was here maybe a year or two ago for suicidal thoughts. It was horrible. I hated it there. They lost my clothes. Gave me others underwear. Gave us little amounts of shampoo and soap. The food was cold. Some wasn't even cooked all the way. I was put on the little kids floor ages 3-12 maybe. Little kids there 3 year olds. I was never moved up to the older kids. I even met this one boy Sean that I liked but i wasn't able to date bc it was unfit to find like someone that has been in that place. I was constantly yelled at for no reason. This place is horrible please never send your kids here.

This so called behavioral health facility promised to get my Father’s medications regulated. Before he went into this facility, that morning I showered him, and he ate full breakfast. He went into the Senior unit and at 25 days in his blood work came back so bad he had to be hospitalized at Mercy. He was completely dehydrated and all of his Blood Panel came back very bad, and his Kidneys were damaged. This was a locked unit, no visitation as to prevent anyone bringing in Covid. Well my Father contracted Covid inside this facility. This tells me that one of their employees brought in Covid, so

FIRST, THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION TO GIVE MINUS OR NEGATIVE STARS! DO NOT SEND ANYONE YOU LOVE TO LAKELAND! DO THE RESEACH AND CHOOSE ANOTHER FACITLY. MY DAD WAS BASICALLY IN PRISON!
My father is 84 years old and was transported to this facility to have his medications for Alzheimer's regulated. At the hospital, prior to my dad being transferred, we were not given all the information, including that Lakeland was on lockdown due to Covid, so we would be unable to see him. That would have prompted us to look at other facilities.
My dad was at Lakeland for just under a month. While there he declined

I worked as a driver/ Patient Transporter. As far as the hospital or staff i couldn't rate anything BUT as far as their drivers being in charge of getting your children to and from the hospital. Do it at your own risk, their drivers text and drive and management does not care. I went all the way to the top and they flat out told me that they do not care. Don't gamble with your children's lives i quit because I couldn't in good conscience work for a company that puts profits over children safety.

I was place here after a failed suicide attempt and stayed a week. It was HORRIBLE. They took me off of my current medication and put me on a medication not ment for children WITHOUT consulting my dr or my Guardian and it made me ten time worse.
every little thing adds on to your time that you have to spend here. If you need a break your time gets add on. If you have to take a time out in the time out room your time is added on. If you don't take ah shower if you don't do this or do that. It was like we would get in trouble for for needing mental help. All the food was microwaveable and rubbery

This place was terrible. I was here a few times at the beginning of the year. They treated me like garbage. Let me explain briefly a few things that had happened each time I was there. I am a teenager and was set on the little kids unit (ages 6-12) I believe. They quoted I wasn't allowed on the Adolescent unit until they made room. Other kids that got there after were moved up but I was never moved up, even after several complaints. I was given the wrong dosage and type of medicine multiple times. I remember one time being admitted and they didn't even bother cleaning the bed from the last person

If your child is in need of mental help, do not let the doctors recommend this place. When I was 10 years old I went here for suicidal thoughts. The place was absolutely horrible. The other kids were allowed to curse without the staff doing ANYTHING about it. Whenever the children there were in trouble, they would get put in a "time out room." The room was completely Concrete, it was absolutely freezing as well. Please, if you're helping your child, don't send them here.

There should be a zero star option. This place is horrible. Lack of communication. Never got to talk to the doctor. Was never involved or notified of treatment team meetings.
My son was placed here in October of 2020. His original therapist was amazing. Now his second one was not. He would call my son his friend. As a therapist that’s one thing you never ever do. My sons behavior was on the up and up until this guy came along. After many sessions with the new therapist my son would walk out of family therapy sessions. I could hear him throwing chairs. The new therapist was ok with him doing
