We are a mother and son partnership that opened our farm and walking gardens to the public for outdoor events. Skysong was created with the original vision of Grandma Mary as a space for peace and relaxation. Her passion for gardening and people merged into one. Mary and her daughter operated a Bed & Breakfast for ten years until Mary's health declined.
The future always included expanding the gardens and using the space for larger group events enjoyment. Now the next generation is here.

Each event in our lives generates a story that we share with others. Skysong began with an idea and as it evolved, so did our stories. We got a Japanese Maple from a friend re-landscaping his yard and the best part was that he drove down in the night to bring it to the farm. A palm tree came that was blocking a friends view at their home, whereupon Uncle Mel and Grandma Mary went and manually dug it up!
The Pioneer Farm Museum is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing living history, environmental, and cultural education opportunities through hands-on activities and experiences. A four acre sculpture park located along state route 706 on the way to the west entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park, three miles east of Elbe, WA.
