We are Amy & Derrick Johnson. It is our pleasure and honor that you have taken the time to consider our charming Historic Farmhouse for your special event. We are fortunate to be the owners of this amazing one of a kind Farmhouse. The Farmhouse was built in 1903, the history is rich, and the legacy is long.

We at The Historic Farmhouse 14 believe in the importance of celebrating special events not in a rushed way.
We believe each client is unique and therefore their floral should reflect that. We love special events and all the details that go into making your day picture perfect. We will dream with you and consider the floral arrangements that have captured your attention and help you create something unique for your special day.
The Johnson's are not only good friends but amazing hosts. Nothing about our big day stressed us out because quite frankly, they are rock-stars and got things handled. From my bouquet (which was literally the most perfect thing ever) to every little detail, they helped make our wedding one of the happiest days of our lives.
I am drawn to light and like to take risks rather than playing it safe. I love incorporating creamy light, sun flares and sunbursts in to my images. I prefer shooting lifestyle photography with lots of connection and emotion; I don't want clients to look back on an image that was picture perfect with everyone in place, but evoked no feeling.

I can't even begin to explain how amazing Amy and Derrick are! From the very beginning, they were so helpful. This is not your average wedding venue, this is a one stop shop of everything you have dreamed about. Amy and Derrick did everything to make sure our day from beginning to end was perfect, and it was. They worked amazingly with our venders, and helped with all the movement the day of. I loved that we had the ceremony and reception in one area! There was ample parking, and everyone loved the venue. The Historic Farmhouse 14 had the perfect getting ready areas for both myself and my husband

My daughter was married at The Historic Farmhouse 14 last weekend. She has said over and over that she had her "dream wedding". Certainly this is partly due to the beautiful, romantic grounds...but more than… that I think it is the owners of the venue that make dreams come true. Amy and Derrick are professional, friendly and they really listened to the bride and groom..and they delivered. They really care. Even our vendors commented on how great they were to work with. The Historic Farmhouse 14 is on of my absolute favorite places to photograph weddings and events at. The owners are Amy + Derrick and they’re the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They make you feel so welcome and they go above and beyond. They truly care about making a couple’s wedding day as stress free as possible. “Your story matters” is more than just a sign that greets you when you first walk in, it’s truly a vision that they have for their home and venue 💕

Recently, we had a Sweet 16 Birthday party at Historic Farmhouse and it was amazing! It was so beautiful and Amy and Derrick were beyond helpful, and made every wish come true! My daughter will always remember this party and now is dreaming of the perfect wedding at this location.

We had our daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party at Historic Farmhouse 14. Amy and Derek made sure every detail was handled down to glitter on the flowers at the place settings, umbrellas for shade and mint sprigs in their water glasses. So many amazing photo opportunities around the property and the girls absolutely loved that. I would recommend this venue for any wedding and smaller event as well.

This is an amazing venue! The house is perfect for getting ready while mixing and mingling.
The yard is perfectly manicured and set up for any small or large gathering. It has a covered area under a tree canopy that gives it a very intimate feeling, very quiet too. Everything flowed perfectly!
Lastly, the owners of this venue were so helpful and… gracious. Our dear friends had another venue bail on them last minute due to Covid-19 restrictions. They met with the owners, shared their story and was told “we got you”. They pulled this off with very little time. The owners have servant

This beautiful venue and amazing owners saved our wedding day! To make a long story short, the Historic Farm House 14 was not our original wedding venue. Our original wedding venue cancelled on us less than 48 hours before our ceremony. I connected with Amy Johnson, one of the venue owners, on a wedding facebook page. She offered to let us use… their venue, even though it was not officially open yet. We met Amy and her husband Derrick at 7am the next day and venue was amazing. I never thought I would find a place so beautiful at the last minute. The house is a classic vintage farm house
