Services
Festivals and events produced included The Blackhawk Farms Music Festival (1999 - 2002) and the Block 5 Festival (2000-2002), which won a Heart of Rockford Award for best special event in 2002! This 4,000 square foot space featured the boutique, a coffee bar and a stage for all-ages shows. In November of 2004, I bought an old commercial building at 1302 Broadway so I could live in the apartment above the storefront.

Minglewood is a wonderful locally owned shop with a great selection of beautiful and unique clothes and accessories. Most of the compliments I receive on my clothes are when I am wearing something from Minglewood. The owner is fantastic and goes above and beyond to provide good customer service. Highly recommend this shop.

Horrible, Lady in the store was so rude today. My friend and I came in and she came out from the back and said hi then went back to the back. Did not even offer to help. I found a cute pair of sunglasses and went to the back to find the worker because there was no price on them and she was sitting on her phone. When she got up she said “10 bucks why?” and I said “I was just wondering because there was no price tag” and she proceeds to say “oh you wanted to make sure they weren’t 40 bucks...so are you gonna buy them” I felt uncomfortable and disrespected and felt that she did not think

Please try Minglewood's for unique clothing, purses and soap. I love shopping at Minglewood's. I hadn't been in awhile so I went back and was delighted. Angie was so helpful and nice to talk with. She helped me sort through alot of clothes and try them on. I love the items that I purchased. I plan to go back to check out their new items.

Hideous clothes at ridiculous prices. The owner is about as useful as a worn out pair of dingy gym socks. Obviously I would not purchase anything from here. ...And the same tired response of "we appreciate...blah blah blah" ..."but we have no record of you shopping with us" is pretty lame. You really keep a ledger of all your clients? Riiiiiight!

Honestly, the owner is so rude. Went in with some friends. We were having a great day until the owner became negative, sarcastic and shamed us for not buying anything. We are the type of ppl who love shopping downtown Rockford. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Sad really, great location, good price point, very poor interpersonal skills.

Vistied the store earlier this afternoon with my business partner. We were greeted by a woman working who told us we needed to leave the store. Not sure if she was confused with our reason for being there or not, however before my business partner could even get a word out we were told to get the f*** out of her store multiple times.
This was the worst customer service and treatment of a customer I have ever experienced. I am not sure if we caught her on a bad day or not but there is no excuse for how poorly we were treated.

I was just enjoying a day in downtown Rockford with my friend, and the lady that was working that day was INCREDIBLY RUDE. While I was with my friend, the lady that was working had the nerve to tell me that I was basically stupid, and even suggested that I leave the store because I couldn't figure out how to open a puzzle box. In my defense, it was literally the first one I had ever seen. Let me just say I was happy to leave a store if you have the nerve to call me stupid. Also, she had the nerve to say that the box would be good to keep weed out of reach to a three year old, or in my case
