I'd never voyaged into the world of permanent makeup before, so deciding to have a microblading service on my brows wasn't something I took lightly. I knew I wanted micro-blading done but as a woman of color I was worried that it wouldn’t look natural and would always look “on”, however I LOVE having perfect brows thanks to Heather!!
Heather micro-bladed/shaded my brows 6 weeks ago and we just had my follow up session and they look FANTASTIC!!!! She was very detailed making perfect measurements so my brows would be even. The healing process went perfectly following her detailed instructions. (Trust the process .. day 4-5 😳)

I did a joint makeup lesson with a friend today with Heather and it was great! She went through our makeup and helped us learn how to pick what worked best for our skin tone and face shape and answered all our questions. Then she helped us do a simple day look and then how to transition that into a night look. I would highly recommend her! Plus she's a lot of fun!

I've utilized Heather's services a number of times! I found her originally through a Google search and promptly scheduled her for a makeup trial for my wedding. Heather was super accommodating and worked with me to achieve a look I was comfortable with. She even let me come back for a second trial to ensure I was content. I also had Heather do lash extensions, which were absolutely incredible! She is hands down the best in the area! She did a great job on my wedding day!

Heather did my make-up for my rehearsal dinner before my wedding. She was kind & professional. She made me feel & look like a million bucks. Also, her make-up application lasted the whole day - I got it done early in the morning & the dinner was late evening. The salon was easy to find, clean, relaxing, and nicely decorated. Heather, thank you for being so amazing. I really appreciate it.

We came to Ruth at Toolbox for much-needed hair cuts and color. It had been at least 6 months since a haircut for my children and me (mostly covid-related) and she had her work cut out for her! On top of that, I wanted to make a somewhat drastic change and go from brown to red. Ruth was extremely capable and knowledgeable. She listened to all of our concerns and wishes (very hard to do with a 12, 14-year old and their mom) and actually made all of us happy! The salon is bright, very clean, convenient and so comfortable. We would definitely recommend Ruth and we will definitely be back!

I have been Heather's client for almost three years and she's stuck with me for 30 more! :) I CAN'T live with my eyelash extensions. I've had them done by others, and they don't compare. I'm also extremely happy with the microblading she did for me--two years later and they still look great. Heather also introduced me to dermaplaning and it's phenomenal!
She also recently did my makeup for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier!

It’s a wonderful place and I know that every time I get my hair cut and colored it will be done right. Julie makes sure she knows what you want before she does anything.Heather did the microblading. How do you write a review for something that made you feel normal again. She took her time to make sure I was happy with the placement and told me everything she was going to do. I was amazed at how real they appear. Definitely a wonderful place and highly recommend.
