I had been with this outfit for one month. When I had an accident and was in pain, I could not get ahold of any staff until I said I was calling a lawyer. Then they said that I was threatening them and released me from care even though I was still in pain. They were more worried about themselves than my pain. However, it was terrific that they contacted me the next day they got my message. I called several times only to a message that the mailbox was full. I may have to be hospitalized because of the accident, and not once did they ask what had happened. They only wanted to accuse me of threatening

If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would this place is an absolute joke they do not care for their clients they only care about making themselves look good! They just created more pain, then no treatment. what is the point in taking care of patients with pain when they're worried about themselves, not the patient in pain? I was recommended to Sun Pain by my previous provider that I've been seeing for 10 years or more until he retired. Dr. Porter was the best and I trusted him when he recommended me to Sun Pain. I never had any incidents with Dr. Porter. However today I was discharged be cause I had a couple of drinks due to a loss in the family. I tried to explain to Susan however there were no chances. She mentioned that I had alcohol before but she never mentioned it to me. There are other patient that I know that go there and see other providers say that they give chances but not this provider. I

If I could give zero Stars I would. Mika Should not be answering the phone. She was so abrupt, abrasive and Down right mean. She called me Because I left a message on the administrators phone to file a complaint About Sue H. Who refused To Increase, which is not a controlled substance nor is it an opioid. I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia and this med seems to have worn off after 8 months of taking it. I had brain surgery for this pain. Now it has flared up.Sue H. said no to an increase. I had seen the same pain doctor for over 10 years. So when I had a change in insurance I could no longer see him. I was referred here by my new pcp. First new patient appointment was long and I was very skeptical. Not what I was used to. But I've adapted to their way of doing things and I've never had a problem. Follow the rules, always communicate with them and their great to work with. The staff that work at the procedure office are excellent! Super friendly, compassionate and professional. They really take care of you.

I had a procedure at Sun Pain today. I had the best experience. Alex , who put my IV in and helped get me prepared was a superstar! I love the people and all their positive attitudes. I absolutely love this office. Been coming here for years. Once you find a doctor who really cares and listens to your complaints, you stick with them right? I know they can only do what the law allows for but they do more than most PM offices I’ve been to. Alex who is medical assistant who helps me during my procedures is so awesome and attentive. He doesn’t treat me like another number and remembers my complaints and helps me accordingly. Thanks Son Pain Management‼️

This place is horrible it's dirty it stinks the front office employees have no idea what they are doing have the worst attitude and they never answer the phone. Please read all of the reviews and make the smart decision and do not begin receiving treatment from this practice. I have been told by an employee that the five star reviews are from employees that make fake Google accounts and leave false good reviews so they can get a better rating and not look so bad. They do not care about their patients everyone that works there is just there for a paycheck and not because they care about helping

I would give a 1 star for pettiness but I can’t do it because that would be disrespectful to Mandy and Bonita who have been great sources of information and kindness to me. I was recently dismissed for losing my cool due to their incompetence. The ladies on the phone didn’t care how I felt with my blood pressure being high and not feeling that I was important enough to at least give me a general idea of how long it would take them to send my prescription to the pharmacy knowing that I had to sit there and wait in the sun. After much soul searching I have decided to leave Sun Pain Mgmt. I have been going there for a few years now and have always been treated with kindness and respect. However, things have declined in the past 3 months. I usually get a reminder of my appointment the day prior even though I always know my appointment date and time. For the past 2 visits they haven’t reminded me. Also in the past they would call me first to see if I was available to do my zoom call earlier than the scheduled time. Now they are just sending the link early. I have a life and other appointments so they should always

I recently missed my appointment(Never missed one prior to this in the years I've been a patient) and they discharged me for that. I don't usually get tested often and was told that I need to do one before my appointment. I forgot where I had done the last one because it had been a few months and called the office MULTIPLE times to inquire about where to go. They finally called me the day before my appointment to of course, collect the copay. I advised the lady that I wasn't able to do the UA as I did not remember where to go. She then advised me that she will let the doctor know

I came here for nearly a year pre-op. I was so sure my 4 level spinal fusion was going to help my spinal pain. Not only did it not help my spinal pain it got worse & the surgeon refused to listen! So 9 months post op I went back to Sun Pain. Thank heavens for after a few months my NP, Nadine Shivers "listened" and ordered a MRI of my spine & L hip. It took awhile for them to get back to me because of the Coviid-19 virus but some unknown NP has a laptop visit with me and did NOT want to read the finding until I insisted. I would not recommend sun pain management as they do not return your calls and I had a MRI and they mAde me wait a week and a half to tell me what it said. Leaving me in pain to the point of it hurt so bad I cried everyday. I even called to talk to the manager and they didn't even call back.

I attended Sun Pain for about 8 years, I never had a negative experience with them, my Provider Sue, (in rooms 7, 8 and 9) and I always discussed my treatment whatever they prescribed I took, Physical Therapy, Injections and Ablation I did because it was in my best interest and I wanted to get better inspite of my chronic diagnoses. Sun Pain Management is a joke. They refuse to acknowledge that the new opioid law contains a Grandfather clause that waives the law's mandate when treating chronic pain sufferers (long term opioid users who manage their pain with spe cofic prescribed amounts). They treat chronic pain sufferers as if they were common drug addicts by requiring them to agree to random pee tests for drugs. And they decide to close from December 23rd through January 1st fully knowing that there may be patients who will need prescriptions refilled during that time because their insurance will not allow refills
