Founded in 2002, we've made it our mission each day to welcome everyone from the newest mountain biker and road rider to the experienced racer or free rider. We are always eager to chat about bikes, gear or the dreams and adventures you wish to pursue. We want our shop to be a resource for information.

I noticed the shop door was open when passing by on a Sunday (their normally closed day) and made a quick stop. Needing brake pads desperately, I took a chance and even though the shop was closed for business the owner welcomed me in and helped my find what I needed. Due to his willingness to take care of me on his day off I’ll now be able to get a holiday weekend ride that otherwise wouldn’t have happened. Thx!!!

Last weekend I road a single trail at Carvin's Cove before hearing that dreaded tick tick tick noise. Sure enough, I had broken a spoke.
I dragged my bike over to Just the Right Gear in the hopes that they might have a rental. Sadly, they did not, but instead they were able to fix my spoke right then and there. That might not seem like a big deal but with how busy bike shops have been lately that saved my day. These guys will do right by ya.

Friendly local knowledge about the trails around Roanoke. Their recommendations really paid off. And when I destroyed a few spokes bombing down gnarly North Mountain on a morning ride, they had me back on the trail in time to get a Carvin's Cove session in the afternoon. This shop is in a beautiful spot too. Recover from from your ride with a beer next to the stream. It's perfect!

Called this great bike shop asking if they do bike rentals - they said they do not, but they did have some awesome Salsa gravel and mountain bikes for demo. We ended up taking the Cutthroats out for a spin and it was fantastic.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with a good variety of bikes, components and apparel. Highly recommend!
