Casual quaint place.
Didn't think much of it when I walked in, but it grew on me. Simple but with detail. Good service. And the food was great. Lots of delicious flavors. Meats and veggies cooked to perfection. Menu was different, but we'll done. Flavors, flavors, flavors..
Would most definitely recommend.
Enjoy

I just lost my husband last week. My bestie took me here to get me out and take me away from it all. It worked! The food was beyond excellent Chef quality. The lighting was easy on the eyes & created a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. The waitress was soft spoken, accurate and displayed lovely dining etiquette. The Best of the Best. A++++

Short story: To. Die. For.
Long story: We started with side salads (larger than most) with plenty of greens, tomatoes, croutons, and two different homemade dressings. The Mosely Family Cellars Syrah was "jammy" and paired well with both mouth watering main dishes. Locally grown Fuyu persimmons added color and complemented the Lemon Thyme Rissoto and fork tender Braised Beef Cheek I'd ordered. My daughter ordered the Duck Breast, which was perfectly cooked and served over smashed Yukon potatoes, spiraled root veggies encircled by spiced maple syrup and pecans. After finishing off our main dishes

What a hidden gem in the Redding area!
We went there for my wife's birthday and came away very happy with all aspects. The food was a hit with the ladies enjoying the persimmon salad and gnocci. The gents enjoyed the chicken marsala and grilled swordfish. All great.
I would recommend getting reservations ahead of time ; the restaurant is smallish and intimate. They really take special care of each table.
Thank you - Amber, Chef Mike and Marshal (hope I got all names/spelling correct)

Our dinners & wine choice were excellent! I commend your little waitress as she was working hard to accommodate everyone in your full restaurant. Not sure if you’re hiring, but you surely could use more help! Considering how busy you were, we were happy with the service and food. A bit noisy, though. We’ll be back!👍🏻😻😋

I saw these reviews that complained of the waitress but I could not disagree more. We came here at 8 thinking it closes at 10, but it actually closes at 9. She made sure we weren't sure and the chef himself came into make sure we had our food accommodations correct!
Additionally the food was AMAZING! I loved the Chicken Marsala

This local gem is on DoorDash and their take out food is just as yummy as their dine in. Some staple favorites are the Chicken Marsala with sun dried tomatoes, or cherry tomatoes, a nice twist to the classic recipe, the pork gnocchi, gnocchi in house made, the scallops, whatever that sauce is on top is oooooh so delish, and if they have it available, you must try the fish specials!! We usually end our meals with some locally made Sorbet or creme brûlée.
Starters to try: ahi wontons and Mac and cheese.
The waitress is as pretty on the inside as she is on the out and the chef is talented and
