Whether you need preventive family dental care or it's time to completely make over your smile, our office is here to help you. We have a wide variety of services to meet all your dental needs. We practice patient-centered dentistry and believe strongly that you are the most important person in our dental practice!
Every family should have a high-quality dentist with whom they can grow and build a trusting relationship. While our office offers numerous dental services, gentle and thorough regular cleanings and check-ups are still at the foundation of our practice. Our team recognizes the importance of providing the services families need and customizing care for kids.
Unlike dentures or partials, you won't experience problems with slipping or sliding, and they don't require a specialized daily care routine beyond regular brushing and flossing. Unlike bridges, dental implants do not require alteration to your existing, healthy teeth. In fact, bridges can be supported by implants for fewer alterations during a more complex restoration.
Crowns and bridges are restorations that correct dental problems, while protecting and strengthening your teeth. Crowns and bridges are usually made of porcelain because of its natural appearance and durability. Everyone wants a smile that is healthy and beautiful, and we can help you reach that goal by using crowns and bridges.

Never fun to go to the dentist, but walking into a clean modern office and being greeted by a warm, welcoming smile is a great start. Staff are courteous, friendly and professional; all my questions answered by the hygienist, the Doc, and front desk/financial staff. Solid plan over the next several weeks to catch me up on long neglected dental health.

Would never go to another dentist in a million years. I've been a patient of Dr. Millikan's for the past 12 years since he worked under the Gentle Dentist name. He took me in when other dentists couldn't handle my anxiety and has been an absolute pleasure ever since. Would literally consider letting my teeth fall out if I every had to see a dentist or dental assistant that he didn't personally train/oversee/hire. Very personable, gorgeous new office, best staff you'll ever meet. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the tri-state area.

I have been unsatisfied for over a year now. My dentist up and disappeared and his replacement isn’t friendly and barley even gives the time of day. My normal hygienist also disappeared and I did not like the new one. She was very rough on my gums and teeth in ways the other one wasn’t. And all the machines kept leaking all over my face. And they never even gave me my next appointment time. Not that it matters because I will be switching and getting a second option.

Most of my dental experiences in the past have been terrible. I highly recommend this dental office. They are very kind and thoroughly explain everything before doing it. They were very sweet with me when I explained to them my dental anxiety. The root canal they did was better than the ones I've had in the past. The one I had previously still bothers me and that was from years ago. Excellent service. They are pricey, but that's a dentist office for you.

I do not endorse or recommend this dental office for individual or family care. I've been a patient with Dr. Millikan for the past 10+ years and until recently have been relatively satisfied with the care and services. Ever since the practice changed from "The Gentle Dentist," the issues continued to grow. Over the past two years, there has been a significant staff changeover, both medical and business. The primary areas of concern for me with this office include poor communication, inaccurate billing, and lack of continuity for patient care.

First visit since the pandemic started, they have you call when you arrive to let them know you are there.
Once you go in (zero wait time) they take your temp and have hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray at the door.
Had xrays, went over the results right then-love that they pop right up on the screen and can see immediately.
Visit went great, everyone was masked, friendly and as always great service!

I'm so glad that I got a second opinion before paying Millikan Smiles to do any more work on me or my family! Not only did I not need most of the work they were recommending for me, but I also found out that they had over charged me for the work they had already done.
On top of that, at the end of my regular cleaning, exam, and X-ray appointment, they told me I had to come back in a few weeks for a "consultation" to review the x-rays with the dentist I had just seen that day (which seemed odd - dentists have always just reviewed them with me on the spot.)
