After numerous requests for pricing via email, I kept getting the runaround and never an answer regarding pricing.

I can't believe the rating for Lone Star Cleaners is so low. I have been a loyal customer for almost ten years, even though I had to start driving a fairly-long way to their second location when the one near me closed due to a massive rent hike in the shopping center. I bring Lone Star ALL of my family's dry cleaning because they are so good and incredibly nice. They use environmentally-friendly products, which is not only important for the environment, but also for our health. Plus, I don't get headaches from the chemicals, so, bonus! They launder stacks of men's shirts

In Dallas for a visit that's been extended so needed to do laundry for clean clothes - Dropped off a 2lb (1/4 of a washing machine) bag of laundry at Lone Star and was told 'no problem'. Picked it up a day later from same guy who with a straight face tried to charge $27 claiming there was a 10lb/ $25 minimum on wash and fold. To provide a little perspective on what a rip off this is, this same load would have cost $5 in New York City (home) - .99/lb w/ 5/ lb minimum that also includes pick up, wash and delivery - so $5 v $27. My issue here is not even the pricing - 2.50/lb is a

I can't say that I'll be back. My dresses cost $10 to clean, and my trench coat was $18, and they didn't get the stain out, which was the only reason I was getting it cleaned. I don't think their prices are at the "$" level, I've been to cheaper cleaners and been just as happy with the service and quality. The only reason I tried it in the first place was because I thought it was cheap and closer to my new house! Sorry, I'm sure they are nice, but they need to change the price level to be more accurate.

More affordable than Bibbentuckers, decent lead times, good hem work on my pants. I have nothing to complain about here!

There are a million dry cleaners in town. I like Lone Star for a variety of reasons:
1. It's a small cleaner, so I see the owner every week. I love that personal connection. During football season, Manny always talks (Texas Tech) Red Raiders and I always talk (Texas) Longhorns. Great guy.
2. Prices are very reasonable
3. Service is good and personal.

Try them; you'll like them!

We love the service that we have received at Lonestar! The owner always calls you by name and is so courteous! They do a great job with all of our clothing and go over and beyond to provide a great service. My husband had ripped his suit pants, and Manny took care of them without having me do a thing. Plus, he went to Texas Tech and we all know we have to support our fellow Red Raiders!

I've been coming here for years, since I was a freshmen in high school really, and 12 years later it's still just as good. Plus, they are about the only dry cleaners that I have found that truly understand what extra heavy starch means. Like blue jeans able to stand up on their own kind of starching! No Goldy Locks experience here, just right on the first try. The owners are great and are always personable, the staff is the exact same way. Plus they are Red Raider fans and alumni as I am so I'll always support fellow Red Raider business. Make sure to check them out if you live

I found this place through Groupon when they advertised $40 worth of dry cleaning for $20. My dry cleaning was stacking up, so I jumped on it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, setting up my new account in just a few minutes. I dropped several suits and various items and was a bit shocked when they asked if I wanted them next day. At no extra charge. Seriously? I guess I'm just used to paying more for quick service, but this was a lovely surprise. I was in & out in a few minutes & off to run more errands.

When I returned, the person at the front was all smiles as

I took my coats and jackets there to get them cleaned. I got the price quoted as I was dropping them off. However, when I picked them up, they gave me a different price, which was more, on top of their over-priced quote. To make matters worse, one of my jackets' torn on its shoulder. And dog hairs on my coats are still there. I am NEVER going there again!

Horrible service. They are WAY overpriced and they'll attempt to charge as much as possible. Also, they attached a permanent "Lone Star" label (that only they can remove) to the inside of my laundered shirts. DEFINITELY AVOID!!!!!!!
