Old messages about us and the world can really get stuck. As we outgrow them, somehow they can stay locked in our unconscious mind. Once those memory messages take hold, they can be very tricky to uproot alone. Counseling can help untangle old, unhelpful messages that may be interfering with meeting your goals today.
The Peaceful/Safe Place exercise is an activity that uses guided mediation to reduce stress by transporting you to a safe/peaceful place. Containment is an exercise where we place challenging and unpleasant events or thoughts in a secure location until we are ready to take them out and examine them.
We offer counseling to people in all ages and stages of life, professional development to helping professionals, consultation to community groups and agencies, and clinical supervision to newly licensed social workers and counselors. We specialize in the treatment of trauma, serious and persistent mental illness, and those folks who identify as LGBTQIA+.
Dr. Wall & Associates provides trainings, workshops, coaching, and seminars designed specifically for your agency needs. Ensure your entire staff receive the same training, at the same time, to streamline implantation of new ideas and skills. Consult directly with Dr. Wall to identify areas in which to enhance performance and practice.

These people have always been good to me and my family and i recommend them to everyone i know. the only issue is that there's only a few doctors working here and the schedule gets full.
jennifer specifically has been the most helpful therapist i've ever gotten to work with.
the waiting room and the therapy rooms are also very cozy and welcoming. and there's a big dog who i adore. cant wait until the office opens up again!

After my doctor recommended them to me, I tried for more than a month to get in contact with Dr. Wall and Associates to make an appointment. After more than 8 unanswered phone calls and at least 3 voice mails, I decided that any counselor that wouldn't bother to contact me back probably wouldn't be a good fit. I wouldn't bother writing a review except for the fact that someone could be in more dire straights than me, looking to connect with someone for help, and then end up completely ignored like I was. It might be easiest to skip that and try to connect with someone else from the get go.
