Honestly, I would really look into the negative reviews that are provided on her professionalism. In terms of her lateness policy, I personally did not have a issue with her, as she was understanding and available in that aspect. To be completely honest, at first I was a little skeptical to come here because Amanda seems to have I kind of mean personality, but I’m so thankful that I came because I was so wrong. I booked a 2h 15m appointment with Amanda which included 6 waxing services. I prepaid 50% in accordance with her policy. At the minute of my appointment time I receive a text asking if I'm there. I replied that I was stuck in traffic and running 20 mins past my appointment

I’ve been going to Amanda for a few years now and she has been exceptional. I got my first Brazilian wax from her and she made me feel super comfortable. Haven’t gone to anyone else since then. Even though I am 800 miles away now, I still go to her when I’m in town. She is really sweet and makes sure she does her job right. I went to Amanda for the first time ever getting this waxed, I got a vajacial & my results are great. Amanda is very knowledgeable, she made sure to inform me on the right way to take care of my hair & skin when waxing. She is super kind & caring. Amanda is truly the best ever! I’m someone who is super shy and to myself and she really breaks my shell when I see her and talk to her about anything. She makes me super comfortable and treats me like family. My friends that also go to her got me into doing Brazilian and vajacials and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. My appointment today was a bottom leg wax and the famous vajacial (with the Brazilian). It was my first time dealing with hard wax, and it is definitely much better than soft wax more due to the pain tolerance. My pain tolerance is already pretty high with waxing, so with the hard wax it wasn't too much of a big deal. I've been going to Amanda for almost 2 years now faithfully & she is beyond amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, recommends her products & services without being forceful & makes each appointment personable while staying professional. I've only received waxes, vajacials & now I've moved on to laser with her but I genuinely believe and witnessed the amazing outcomes of all her other services. Amanda is the best ever! You get what your paying for. She keeps it straight it up and she looks out for her customers. She only wants the best for them. I booked a last minute appointment with Amanda 45 minutes prior to my appt. I've seen nothing but highly recommended reviews with before and after shots. I came to NYC all the way from Maryland to bring all of my insecurities and skin issues to her.

Once I arrived, the building numbers were so easy to find and parking is highly accessible. She's on the fourth floor and gave me very clear instructions to her shop. I never knew YoHo was so big on the inside! There were many local business owners from tattoos, food, art, you name it, it's there!

So I googled spa's near me and came across Abdelnour. After checking out her website I called her and made an appointment. The day of the appointment I was a bit lost because the numbers on the building goes from #540 to #578;however, Amanda was great with walking me through directions and parking.
So The appointment began with a very thorough consultation, where I learned how strongly Amanda feels about shaving ( Lol), she educated me on the pros and cons of shaving vs. waxing.
So the service began and I was pleasantly surprised, it didn't hurt as much as it usually does at other places

Where do I start, Amanda is the best esthetician in Yonkers! She is hard working and puts her all into the services she offers. Not only is her "miracle coffee masque" a miracle worker, and also the toner which refreshes your skin literally in this hot summer weather. She also brings out the natural beauty everyone has! Not only do you get Yonkers best esthetician, you get a great friend who is there to help you out in your insecurities. I recommend her 10/10. You will not regret going to abdelnour day spa at all.
