Doris Farmer, the owner of Heart to Heart Yoga & Healing, is an occupational therapist and yoga teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. Doris discovered early in her life that teaching is her gift and that yoga is her passion. Her way of teaching is gentle, informative, and filled with kindness and love.
Enjoy the calm, peace and self-acceptance of yoga no matter what shape you are in. In beginners classes modifications and adjustments for your body's needs will be encouraged through the use of props: including a chair, the wall, blocks, bolsters, belts and blankets.
You will learn basic yoga poses, and how to allow the "breath to breathe you" to relieve stress and tension in your body, and to open the flow of energy in your body to experience your natural state of well-being.Combines a bone building, muscle toning, hand-held weight routine, with yoga strength and endurance poses, and the use of ankle weights.
