Our staff is well certified for their positions and boast several awards and affiliations; Dr. Atwood has been named as one of the "Top Docs of Hampton Roads" by Coastal Virginia Magazine, and Dr. deGuzman-Berube was a member of the American Medical Women's Association just to name a few.Dr. Atwood obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University.

I chose to come to this office based on all the good reviews and this is a wonderful family practice. The reviews are true and I've been coming to this practice for almost 6 years now. The staff at Atwood Family Medical Center has always been very professional and personable, they know my name when I come into the office.
Anytime I’ve need something done, prescriptions, notes for this or that, coupons for prescriptions, they have ALWAYS accommodated me with haste!!! I feel at home when I’m in the office.

I have been a patient with the Atwood Family Medical Center for nineteen years. They are a very professional Medical Group with outstanding doctors, nurses and office personnel. You find yourself feeling as part of a great family. I started with them in 2002. So starting in 2022 it will be twenty years!!

I always have a pleasant experience at Atwood Family Medical Center. Meagan is the best PCP I ever had, she is the there to meet your medical needs. She is thorough and a very experience medical professional. Melina and the staff are very helpful and are willing to help you in any way possible. I don't know what I would do without them.

Atwood family practice is quite frankly the best place to receive care. NP Stephanie is absolutely fantastic. The entire staff makes you feel important, heard and comfortable. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This practice is thorough and quick to be able to provide comprehensive care. Absolutely one of the best if not the best family practice I have ever been to. I’m very grateful I was referred to them by a friend. You’ll be so glad to switch to them! They take the best care of their patients.
