A life-changing event motivated me to re-evaluate my life. It was time to find meaning in my work and craft a balance that would free me to spend more time with my then 3-year old son. The outdoors always called to me. It was my place of healing, of safety and inspiration.
I found that being outside, touching the soil and plants, watching and feeling like a part of nature, gave me great solace and joy especially when times felt challenging and painful.Since I knew that I wanted to make a positive difference in people's lives, I was convinced from my experiences that landscaping was how I would tap into the meaning I was seeking in my life.

We are halfway through our project and are thrilled with what Moodscapes has done. They designed a beautiful backyard and front yard for our home that we are so excited to see come together. Everyone is very responsive and the costs are reasonable with no big surprises.

Judi and team did a major landscaping renovation for me last year including clearing out bad overgrowth, replacing an existing deck with a larger one, repairing hardscaping, new irrigation, and many new plantings. It was a complicated project to manage, including significant difficulties with the town permitting the deck and with the deck contractor, but Judi worked through it all with me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'm particularly pleased with her thoughtfulness about choosing native/ beneficial plants, and her ability to collaborate to resolve issues. Her team is also doing a

This spring, we have enjoyed a succession of blooming native perennials, shrubs, and trees. We are thrilled with the landscape design and instillation by Moodscapes. The process, from the very beginning was fun, informative and responsive. Now, we have a magical backyard that will grow and change and bring us joy for years to come. The design takes into account every season, different heights of plants, textures, and colors. We have a plan that we are constantly reviewing, to discover what each plant is, including a key with pictures. Our favorite part of the experience with Judi and her team was the creativity that went into the design of our undeveloped backyard. We had a lot of ideas, and she listened to us and made great suggestions based on our priorities, even incorporating native plants and a butterfly garden. We also had a beautiful patio built, which has really changed the way we use the space. We look forward to adding in elements over time using the detailed plan that she created.
