Sunrise Montessori School, Inc. is a nonprofit (501c3) organization providing quality Montessori preschool and kindergarten programs to children in Franklin, MA and the surrounding communities since 2005. We encourage you to call our Head of School and discover how a Montessori education can benefit your child.
My husband and I weren't sure we could afford to send both of our children to private school at the same time, but we are glad we did. It was the best investment for our family. And Sunrise offers a flexible payment schedule. This is not something we encountered at other schools.

Services
Thank you for your interest in Sunrise Montessori School. We are proud of our accomplishments and have provided quality Montessori programs to children in Franklin and the surrounding towns since 2005. It is our belief that all children have the opportunity to develop to their full potential through guided instruction in a safe and caring environment.
Enrolling your child in a quality, early childhood program is an important decision as preschool is typically the first time when many children spend a few hours each day with adults and other children who are not from their own family. Parents who are interested in the Montessori method of teaching are encouraged to make an appointment to tour the classrooms during a typical day.
If you are an early childhood professional with Massachusetts EEC certification we'd love to hear from you. We are actively recruiting an Assistant Teacher to join our Children's House program for the 2021-2022 school year. Our school has 2 primary classrooms (mixed ages between 2.9 and 6 years old) and is licensed for up to 40 children.
You and your family are welcome to learn about our programs and Montessori education, tour the classrooms, speak with our teachers, current parents and members of the Board of Directors. Applications for admission are available either through our website, during a visit or upon request. We are happy to talk to you about the upcoming school year, answer questions about our programs, enrollment and early childhood education.
Our board is represented by founding members of Sunrise Montessori School and by parents whose child(ren) are either currently enrolled or whose child(ren) previously attended the school. With the exception of our Head of School, all board member positions are volunteer. Each member commits to a three year term to serve the school.
