The Learning Tree Daycare & Preschool is comprised of passionate staff members whose goal is to provide your children with the highest education, care, and safety. We keep our children busy with learning and fun activities throughout their day! All teachers have a background in teaching children and are certified through the state of Massachusetts, CPR and First Aid Trained, and have to fulfill 20 hours of additional training each year.
Services
In our infant room we have the pleasure of taking care of children between the ages of 4 weeks through 15 months. We enjoy being able to encourage and support some of their "firsts", such as grasping, rolling, sitting up, crawling, all the way to the walking stage. The infants are moving towards some independence and reach that through play, toys, and the love of their teachers.
Younger Toddlers In the younger toddler class we aid children in discovering a sense of physical self by using their fine and gross motor skills. We experiment with puzzles, blocks, markers, crayons and Play-Doh and get a little messy with finger painting, whip cream, the water table and sand table.
Preschool at the Learning Tree is lots of fun and lots of learning! We have group time, having fun learning about the calendar. The kids love changing the months and putting the days of the week up on the Calendar Board! They also learn about the weather and each child has an opportunity to be the weather watcher for the day.
Before and after school available for limited school age children. The bus will pick up children in the morning at The Learning Tree and bring them to the public school. In the afternoon a bus will return the children to The Learning Tree. This program is to be able to help the children to eat breakfast and get them prepared for their day at school.
I have always been passionate about teaching children, working in both home and larger daycare settings, and have carried forth that enthusiasm into my plans for The Learning Tree Daycare & Preschool. I have incredible teachers and assistants who treat all the children like their own, just as I would, and are always going above and beyond their job description.

Would not recommend!! The teaching staff acts miserable and seems very uninterested in being there. Do they have experience, not sure another facility would recommend them? They are not attentive to the children’s needs, no interaction or nurturing behavior. The teachers who are responsible for caring for our children should at least pretend to like their job. There is no consistency, the teachers are absent every other day. Very difficult for the children to get into a routine with different teachers constantly. Do not send your children here.

The hours (7 am - 6 pm) are perfect for working professionals like my wife and I and considering it's both a daycare and a preschool it's very convenient for us to be able to drop off both our 7-month-old and our 3-year-old at the same place.
The staff is always positive and accommodating and we feel our children's experiences are good prep for Kindergarten.
The building is recently renovated and expanded and offers a beautiful, comfortable environment for learning and play. The staff encourages outdoor play whenever it's reasonable, including in cold weather (which we greatly appreciate).
