I had the opportunity to work with both Lisa and Chris over the course of a long case, involving a former foster family's motion for adoptive placement (it was a highly contested case, as well).

As many people would agree if you win a case your lawyer is great. If you lose a case your lawyer is to blame. In my family court case with Chris I lost. My events and judgment of Chris are purely based on experience with my court case. I researched Chris before I met with him for the first time so I knew his record. Chris represented my ex wife in our divorce in 2018 and completely took advantage of her financially. My lawyer and I did all of the work regarding drafting papers, amending them, submitting to the courts, etc.. Both attorneys had similar hourly rates yet his invoice total was more than double my legal fees!
I did feel that Chris was a fair negotiator and did have his client's interest in mind but the fees were over the top and out of line. My ex wife is still digging out of the debt incurred through Chris' obnoxious fees.

Save your money! Banas Family Law only is aggressive with filling their pockets. It does not matter if you ever see your children. He'll give you a song and dance that includes saying "I'm in your corner" but really he does not care. I see some females that have given decent reviews but they are Female. Nothing against Females for sure but they are 1st class and Males are 2nd class in the court system. I unfortunately know this to be true. Make sure you read all the thesaurus information they give you in court. If you assume that your "Attorney" will advise

Mr Banas ,his wife and team helped me through the toughest time in my life. Help me keep custody of my kid which we all know as a father is not an easy task. Also the firm has very reasonable prices and they will work with you on the payments like they did me. Mr Banas always was in contact with me and was able to be contacted when i needed him. And was there to calm me down when i was panicking. I recommend Banas family law to anyone and if need be would always use them again.

When I went searching or a lawyer I could trust, I read as many reviews as I could about lawyers nearby me. I came across Chris Banas Law Firm and even though I read some.less than stellar reviews of him I gave him the benefit of the doubt and met with him. During the first meeting he sold himself has a aggressive lawyer who was on my side. He charges over $250 an hour and we asked him what would are case cost.
