I’ve been coming to Keeley’s for about 5 months now. Finally found a salon to do my color the way I wanted it. Emma is tremendous. They will doing my children’s hair now. Wonderful people. I am disabled n they make me feel so at home.

Keeley's is a special secret. Tucked up on a hillside entrance off of Frankstown Road.
I am a caregiver for my husband,
So I don't get out with the exception of work, local grocery, and his doctor's appointments.
So I don't get a lot of ME time if ever, however I was in desperate need of something. I needed to get rid of the gray hair, and I needed a style to make me look human for lack of a better word.
Megan the stylist there came through. She listened. She had empathy. She had patience while I tried to let her know what I NEEDED, and she showed me a GENUINE sense of caring. THAT IS RARE

Emma is fantastic at 'makeovers'. I came in with frizzy home dyed (red) hair. She fixed the color perfectly. I had eyelashes done and what a thrill to have eyelashes for the first time in my life. I am so so glad I skipped my regular hairdresser. All the staff are friendly and personable. I really can't say enough about how great Keeley's is. You owe it to yourself to give them a try.

My husband hates getting his hair cut and it's not easy finding someone he likes. He saw Dean after over a year of not getting a cut due to the pandemic. All I did was show Dean pictures of how my husband usually looks with his hair freshly cut and he knew exactly what to do. Previously when we did this with other stylists, we would still be asked how he wanted it cut and it didn't always come out right. So to have someone with this kind of experience execute perfectly was a relief for us. And my husband liked him so he might actually get a haircut regularly from now on.

I hate getting my hair done. How's that for a beginning of a review?
That being said, three stars from me is a pretty high rating for anything beauty-related. I liken it to rating a dentist... you never want to give five stars to some guy who tortures you in a chair for the better part of two hours.
I've been going to Keeley's for years because it is right in the middle of (now my parent's) hometown. The owners, Dean and Erin, are great stylists and always remember all of their customers' names. Not an easy feat in Penn Hills. Frankly, the other stylists are a mixed
