Instead of removing door, they took the back panel off the washer.

I recently took on a major project of cleaning and organizing furniture and belongings in our home. I was looking for a company to efficiently move furniture within our home and to haul out old rugs and no-longer-needed furniture. Great experience. Friendly & punctual. Very reasonable price. This business failed to meet basic civic duties while on a jobsite in a shared community residence.
Masks worn on the chin or below the nose today (Dec 18th 2020) in Ballard by a team of two white men, one husky and average height, one lean and tall. They were sullen and moving slowly.
This company clearly has a lot of good infrastructure set up -- text confirmations, great website online. Their truck was clean, clearly branded, and parked in a courteous position based on local parking customs and regulations.

We've used Big Haul three times now and could not be happier. Appointments are set up quickly (next day, each time) and they show up when they say, including a courtesy call when they are on the way. Their team is always really friendly, nice to chat with, and do a great job. My son with autism likes to "help" them and they are always super sweet and try to include him somehow. Also, no weird or hidden charges, everything is up front and transparent. Could not recommend more highly.

Scheduled for 9-11am but only showed up at almost noon. Called twice to give unrealistic times (11am at first, followed by 11:30), forcing me to delay my own plans to wait for them. Not particularly apologetic about the lateness. Work once they were actually on site was efficient if pricey, which is what the 3 stars is for.

I called Big Haul on Tuesday morning to pick up my old couch. They said they could pick it up that afternoon, but I opted to have them pick it up the following day. Since I was able to move the couch to the driveway on my own, they lowered the price for me and I did not even need to be home to for the pick-up! The price was great and the service was timely! I would definitely use them again!

I'm so happy with the service and professionalism! I contacted the business through Yelp messaging and was messaged back several times to get a rough estimate and contact information.
Long story short: They came out to pick up one bedroom dresser within a few hours after the messaging. Couldn't be easier than that:)

Gave me the cheapest quote of several companies I'd contacted to remove an old couch, loveseat, and mattress. Quickly set up an appointment via email, and the crew of three showed up on time, carried the furniture out of the house, loaded it all up and were gone within 10 minutes. Very professional, affordable, and easily the company I'd just contact directly next time we need a load of junk hauled off.

Couldnt be happier! I got a quote from a few companies to haul away our old dishwasher and this one was the best. The owner was the one who responded to my estimate inquiry and was super duper friendly and helpful. We were able to schedule a pick up the day of and the guys were on time and very friendly. I was thrilled when the same fantastic men came out for a second junk haul about a month ago. They were quick and super efficient and gave me some information about pricing for the next junk haul I need to schedule, which includes some yard debris. The guys are super helpful just in general and even pointed out a few things I was planning to toss that I actually wound up wanting to keep.

Phone estimate was low despite my accurate description of the load. On site estimate was raised to 150% of first bid. Too few people and the wrong sized truck contributed a final cost that was 300% of phone estimate. The company men were demeaning to women, too. Too bad these guys came recommended by a contractor friend.

Friendly, helpful customer service and punctual, but they get dinged one star because the fee was rather high compared to their baseline pricing. On their web site, the minimum charge is indicated as $65, but to haul away one full-size mattress set and one small wooden desk they charged twice that amount.
I went with Big Haul because of the good reviews and because they appeared to have more sensible pricing than the competitors, but what they charged ($136 w/tax) negates much of the value notion. Still, I recommend them due to the quality of their service.
