Westmont Engineering was founded in Westmont, Illinois in 1936 during the challenges of the Great Depression. Jay D. Morey would travel across the country, picking up work wherever available, including mission-critical conveyor systems for the USPS. Soon joined by his sons Stillman and Howard, the Morey family was dedicated to building Westmont Engineering based on hard work done well.
Over the years, Westmont developed expertise in installations across a wide variety of projects. These installations have spanned from high-rise window washers to malted milk ball machines. Westmont has done it all-from fabricating a 30ft. We added internal fabrication capabilities and equipment, including a new state of the art beamline and high definition plasma table to better manage projects, budgets and timelines.

Services
Industrial equipment installations vary from client to client, but whatever form they take, Westmont is up to the challenge. We have experience in industries as varied as food and pharmaceutical facilities, to extrusion and casting plants. Whether it's moving a single piece of equipment or an entire new plant relocation and installation, Westmont has the expertise to do the job quickly and safely.
When conveyor systems go off track, so does your productivity. For decades, Westmont Engineering has served as one of Chicagoland's choice conveyor installation companies, helping businesses install, modify, and repair this essential equipment. We work with you to keep your business moving. Whether replacing a single component, modifying the existing system, or replacing the entire system, we can handle the job.
Westmont uses the latest and most advanced digital scanning and laser alignment equipment. By scanning your existing facility and importing it into a CAD format, you can now view how your new production line or piece of equipment looks in place and check necessary clearances before installation begins.
Our technicians know the ins and outs of your equipment and other installations, so they target the issue right away, addressing the problem with speed and safety. We believe in qualiy as well as speed to prevent headaches down the road. Consistent production puts stress on even the most resilient equipment.
One of our specialties is true: in-house metal fabrication. We can produce the structures you need without taking up time and space on site. It makes us more flexible, too. By working in our controlled environment, even last-minute structural changes can be implemented in an expedient and cost-effective manner.

Westmont Engineering is the real deal! I'm the Executive Assistant for the President of one of the Midwest's leading crane and hoist companies. We use Westmont as our prime subcontractor on many large jobs and honestly, they are great. They are always our first call for any mechanical engineering and installation work. A great, quality company to work with!
