Tomasello Winery
To make great wines you need a few key ingredients. Naturally, things like good soil, healthy vines, sunlight, plentiful grapes and good barrels are all necessary. However, truly great wines require something more, something our family has cultivated alongside our 70 acres of premium varietals since 1933, hard work and passion.

Founded over 80 years ago by our grandfather, we are the third generation of Tomasellos to build upon his great vision. Not only through dedicating our lives to growing and producing excellent wines that are a true expression of the Outer Coastal Plain, a historically celebrated American wine growing region, but by bringing our wines closer to your families with elegant tasting rooms and gift shops throughout the great Garden State.
Services

Tomasello Winery was the perfect wedding venue! Lisa Tomasello was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process, and Dana Hoffman was amazing on the day of! The ceremony site was beautiful and the reception hall is also great, especially for our 110-person wedding. The food was incredible! We tried all three dishes that were served and the fish, chicken, and steak were all delicious.

If planning an event here, keep in mind the first person you meet is a saleswoman. The first Lisa is soooo lovely and makes you every promise under the sun. Then once you book she is never heard from again! Lol. The second Lisa, the details person, that takes over is I guess very busy. She only answers emails one day a week, and is very dismissive when things start to go awry. We booked just over a year out of our event. Exactly a year out I reached out to ask for vendor recs, at this time Lisa tried to slip in that the valet was no longer available for a year out and cut our guest count by almost

Tomasello Winery's social media posts amazing recipes!! Their "Ladies Night" post made me stop by for the raspberry wine and I was so excited when the color turned out the same and tasted just as good as it looks!

The tasting was great. The cheese board with the dark chocolate was phenomenal.

My personal favorite was the Vintage Port. The Rainer Red was great too.

Disenchanted with gold case club membership. Last visit cost $10 for a tasting that used to be included with membership. Why would I pay to be a member, if, I am treated the same as anyone who comes in off the street?

This is the best Italian market! If you have the chance, stop in and fill a shopping basket with authentic Italian groceries, produce and house-prepared foods like thick-cut stuffed pork chops ready to cook. Pick up great sandwiches and cold cuts from the deli, grab some of the huge selection of interesting and delicious cheeses, fresh bread and rolls delivered from local bakeries - so many wonderful choices!

We went here for a tasting on a Friday afternoon. We were in the area celebrating our anniversary. It's a small but cute tasting room. The woman who worked there (I wish I got her name) was so sweet, personable, knowledgeable and made the experience more fun! We did the tasting and bought a few bottles to take home. The wine there is very cute, lots of different flavors, blueberry yum! We will definitely go back, it's in the downtown area of Lambertville, so much to do in the area. They took great precautions for covid, easy to reserve for the tasting (I believe a walk in came after us

I got married here in October 2019. My experience with Tomasello from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. I never felt ignored, I was 99% of the time told "yes" and everyone I interacted with was SO SO nice, even if I was anxious or babbling. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for me and my family for our wedding. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, my guests commented on how well the bar staff handled the guest demand for alcohol and drinks, and the venue itself is just so freaking gorgeous!!! When I think back on that day, I can't think of a single

Very clean and inviting atmosphere. We arrived right when they opened for the tasting. Nice selection of wines. The cheese board we ordered was extremely overpriced but it seems like this is the standard at most wineries we have visited recently. Employees very friendly and knowledgeable.

First winery visit while on vacation. Small little shop and very knowledgeable staff. We found multiple wines that we enjoyed. Well worth getting the groupon....includes tasting and two bottles of wine plus more.

Great outlet for their winery. Cute space with plenty of wine and seats and high top tables. Good location for going to buy a bottle of wine to bring to dinner. Small area of town and lots of people out on a Friday night. The woman who helped us with our wine tasting was so nice and patient. You should call ahead to make a tasting appointment.

This was such a great find! The tasting room was intimate but not overcrowded on a Saturday. $15 for 8 wines during a tasting. Our hostess, Dominique, was informative and lovely. I recommend the Pinot Grigio and Almond flavored wine.

I ordered this gift Monday night to get to my mom, who lives in North Jersey, in time for her birthday. It arrived Wednesday morning (in a day)! Shipping wasn't outrageous, and they had a sale on fruity wines--my mom's favorite is blueberry, and she's had this bottle before and loved it. Plus, I was very pleased with the presentation. I included a celebration note, which was generously printed out and included. I've seen some nightmare gift tags before... This, gladly, wasn't one of them. Mom was happy = I'm happy.

My fiance and I had the groupon and decided to stop here on a beautiful fall Saturday. I will start by saying that Lambertville is such a cute little town and the tasting room location is right off the main road so it's easy to get to. The room is a little small but the employees there did such a great job of taking their time to talk to us about the wines and really make the tasting fun. Also as we learned from talking to them is that they are dog friendly so you can bring your pooch, although I would say be careful because there are some fragile things in that tasting room that our dog might

I bought a groupon to here for my moms christmas present. We of course had a great time because 1, we love wine, 2, we can make a good time out of anything. I was slightly disappointed to know this was just a strange little store that sold tomasello wine.

It seemed like the wine tasting was going to be some extravagant thing. There were no seats at the bar thats also the register. So we had to awkwardly stand in the middle of the store and do our tasting with people walking around us. We also felt rushed.

However, positives: wine was really good (loved the sangiovse), great location to walk

A group of four and we tried each other's tastes too. I usually prefer red wine, but didn't like any of theirs. The only white wine of theirs that was semi likable was their chardonnay. We're from Long Island and are used to going wine tasting and were very disappointed in the tomasello wines

Stopped in here for a tasting and to buy a bottle of wine for lunch at DiNapolis. The wines were ok, not great and the prices on some were just too high. We did do a tasting and got to keep some glasses as a momento so that was good. We grabbed a bottle of daffodil wine for lunch (not made from daffodils, just called that) and it was refreshing and crisp on a hot day

This was our third stop going around wine tasting over the weekend and we were all very impressed with their wine selection and overall taste. They have a great deal that if you purchase the glass for $5, you get the glass itself and 5 tastings that day. Whenever you bring the glass back you get unlimited tastings! The two people who helped us out were really informative and nice as well.

The reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because they are currently under construction (which isn't what bothered me), but what it actually looked like before these renovations. It was in serious

I have been going Wine Tasting across in New Hope for years and didn't think it could get better than Bucks Wine Shop....and well it kind of can't...I give them 5 stars because they have awesome hand painted wine glasses and amazing customer service.......

BUT........this place does wine tasting fo' FREE!

Now seriously, given the fact that it's a bit of an unfair comparison due to the fact that Tomasello only stocks their own wine and Bucks has various, I will credit Tomasello for having very different and delicious variates (which have won multiple awards). We tasted 5 kinds

Great wines in this little tasting room in the quaint and charming Lambertville. $5 gets you 5 tastings, and I liked almost everything I tried. Definitely has something for everyone, from sweet fruit wines to sparkling to dry reds. The wines I LOVED were the Sparkling Pinot Noir ($20/bottle), Merlot ($10/bottle), and the Blackberry Wine ($10/bottle). Very reasonable prices.

I love that the tasting room is Dog Friendly! I wish they had at least a table or two where you could sit, but that's okay. The service was okay -- he answered questions but just didn't seem like he wanted to be

My wife and I went in on a Monday around noon and had the place to ourselves which was nice. The woman working was very knowledgeable and helpful. The best part of the tasting was that you could pick any 5 from a very wide selection, and my wife and I ended up tasting some of the same and some where we picked different items. We both enjoyed everything we tried, which is often not the case. I'd highly recommend trying their sparkling fruit wine (we tried blueberry) or one of their non-sparkling fruit wines (we tried blackberry) as they are definitely something that you can't find
