Check City will not work with you if your unable to pay on the due date, not for one day, there's other lenders who will, but not this one, maybe its because they operate in too many different states and are unable to apply the laws for each one. Just beware, they will triple there fees if you bonce a payment.

I'm VERY dissatisfied with the customer service I just received today. I come in to take out a loan and when the rep asked me to verbalize my bank account information I asked her why because this has never been asked before. I've been using check city for YEARS! Her response "BECAUSE I NEED TO VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION " and I AM NEW. The customer service is awesome and they are very friendly and they really explain everything to you and they make you feel comfortable and they don't make you feel bad that you are borrowing money for things that you have going on in life so I really appreciate them in the company they have been good to me and they have been there for me when I come into a jam or I just need some fast cash and they have 24-hour location I love that

This review is to clear up a bad review that I had posted about Check City on Nellis in Las Vegas. I had sent my brother Western Union on his Birthday and provided a test question and answer because his identification had expired. He called me and told me that Check City was not able to give him the cash without his i.d. and so I called Western Union and asked if they could add a test question and answer to pick up the money. This place has the absolute worst customer service. Everytime i go there it is an issue. Sometimes they decide my check is not a payroll check, even though it is a payroll check and instead of charging me 2% or whatever they charge me 5%...other times they just charge me the 2%. Why is there 2 different prices for company checks. If you work or perform a service for a company, 1099 or as an employee and that company pays you, that is a payroll check. It shouldn't depend on the mood of the cashier, just because they are mad that day and want to prove a point.

I used this place for my WesternUnion transactions is fast, there is never a line!! And they are very secure an clean in their office, no bathroom, parking is just out the door, AC is awesome in this heat !! Customer satisfaction is ok, location is in one corner of flamingo and Jones with is great to get there.

I received a unexpected check in the mail . I expected it was a fraudulent check but still I wanted to make sure . Thinking about all the good things I've done in life and possibly this was the universe giving back to me . I went to this check city I bit shy and embarrass because I didn't want anyone thinking I was trying to be a snake .. this was on a Saturday I believe and my bank was alread closed. Check city hours are very convenient . The rep was very nice to me . He gave me some good opinions and didn't judge me . Being a weekend Though he tried, he couldn't contact the bank it specified

I love this location! Shannelle was absolutely awesome! She was very professional and has such a beautiful personality! The place is very clean and quiet! It's also one of the few places left in Vegas that sells stamps individually, without having to purchase the book! Most definitely would recommend this location to anyone!

The Guy that runs the place is awesome he is very nice.... the girl although Sarah is rude as hell. I walked in at 8:57am and she clearly told me in a nasty rude tone we open at 9. Well why is the door open for me to come in. The thing that bothered me it's not what she said it's how rude she said it. So I walked out sat in my car for 3 minutes because it was 44 degrees outside. So I go back in at 9:01am just to make sure that she could service me. She did and didn't speak a word to me while helping me get my money orders. Sad part I like doing my transactions at Check City but I guess I need to

I've been coming to this Check City location for over 2 years now.
I have a Netspend card, which is a prepaid debit/credit card. I come here all the time to load the card so I can pay my bills, order my bf beard oil, buy concert tickets, etc.
I also just found out that money orders are FREE here. How amazing is that?!
The staff is always very friendly, and the place is clean.
I love that they are open 24/7.
My only complaints are:
