Caroline K was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She later moved to Los Angeles where she attended MKC Beauty Academy and received her certification. After graduating, she began her career working as a makeup artist and hair stylist lead for a wedding makeup and hair styling team. After extensive training, Caroline K bettered her skills at Sephora as a Senior Artist and worked at MAC Cosmetics, teaching and doing makeup for clients.
While working for MAC Cosmetics, Caroline K received her certification from the San Jose City College Cosmetology Program and is now a licensed Cosmetologist. She can provide services such as hairstyling, haircuts, and coloring. Caroline K has her own salon, working as a hairstylist and working along side independent stylists.

Caroline has been doing my hair for about 5 years and I don't dare to go anywhere else! I've seen her skill set blossom as the years passed by and her work is always amazing! I started from Balayages and worked my way to getting Baby Lights w/ root melts. Her work speaks for itself and you'll get compliments on your hair. Amy at House of Colors is not a good stylist. Do not go in it you have dark hair and want to go blonde. Do not go if you want a good hair cut. She told me she would be able to make my hair not as blonde as I wanted but she didn’t warn about my dark hair turning copper like a penny. Once it became copper, I expressed my dislike of it and she toned it but it didn’t get rid of the orange. Just made the other pieces grey. Decided to take my girlfriend to get her hair done and booked an appointment. Caroline was super friendly and very professional every step of the way. She listens to her clients and finds the best solutions and possibilities that makes them happy. I have been a long time client of Caroline's, for about 3 years now. From my wedding to my hair Caroline has created beautiful looks and is talented. Where should I start!?! Caroline is seriously the best hairstylist I've ever encountered! I've been to a lot of stylist and not saying anything bad about who I've gone to in the past but I just a felt a different vibe with Caroline. She will tell you exactly what you need to hear but always be respectful with what you want as well! She always makes me feel comfortable and she gives great head massages! Caroline has been doing my hair for over 5 years now and I only trust her with my hair because she is very knowledgeable with hair and what can be done to your hair safely. She started on my virgin hair and we have tried almost every color of the rainbow on my hair: purple, green, blue, peach, etc. Getting to be blonde from black hair is a process and it will take multiple sessions but Caroline will always guide you through the process and get you to your hair goals without chemically burning all your hair off. Caroline has been cutting and coloring my hair for at least the last 5 years. She does an absolutely wonderful job and does what you ask for. She also double checks with me what I want and it is reassuring. She is good at estimating how long it will take to complete her process. She also provides care instruction and quickly answers questions about hair. Her prices are fair and reasonable for her services. She also keeps a clean shop and when the county allows her to open her shop up, she has implemented strategies to ensure her clients and herself remain safe and healthy.

This review is for Caroline! She is such a sweet person and is incredibly talented at what she does. I showed her pictures of what I wanted to do with my hair, and she was transparent of she was able to achieve based on the previous hair coloring I have done, which I loved! I've gone to Caroline twice for balayage after family recommended her and she WOWS me everytime! I get compliments like crazy! She's an artist! She is also flexible with scheduling which I really appreciate! She is very sweet and makes your time in the chair a pleasant experience. Free wifi and phone charger is such a game changer for me. I have had 3 appointments with Caroline so far and I'll be coming back time and time again. She's an amazingly hard worker and always willing to schedule me later in the day and on weekends as needed. I really appreciate her flexibility.
Balayage 5/5: I've been to Carolines studio twice to have my hair dyed. She takes the time to do it in plastic wrap instead of foil which is a lot more comfortable. There is a setting process but not a lot of heat added which is better for my hair's health. Super worth it for me since I get my hair highlighted twice a year max.

Just got my balayage ombré refreshed today by Caroline (and her extern)! She definitely delivered in what I was going for. She was extremely careful and patient, taking her time with each and every section of my hair, making sure that the end result would not be too much contrast within the part that was already light and the top base which needed to be lightened. Caroline did my hair and make up for my senior prom. She did an AMAAAAAAAAAZING job!
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my hair because I have a huge face and I have no idea what looks good with my big head but my mom and I were COMPLETELY blown away at how beautiful my hair was! I felt like a pwincess :)
My make up was also beautiful! She airbrushed my face that looks really natural but made my skin look flawless. She really did make me feel like a princess.
