Our world class faculty is comprised of professional musicians who are also highly experienced and dedicated teachers - sensitive to the needs of each student because everyone learns differently. There is no one size fits all at WMS. Learning the fundamentals of music such as tone, technique and efficient use of the body is the path to becoming an expressive and nuanced musician.
Our teachers tailor piano lessons to the needs and desires of the student. The enormous versatility of the piano combined with the wide-ranging experience of our faculty means their piano lessons can take the student wherever they want whether it be serious classical, folk, or popular music. Our teacher at Wilton Music Studios will craft singing lessons to fit the needs and interests of the student.
Our piano teachers are consummate musicians, comfortable teaching very young children through professional musicians polishing repertoire. Whether a four year old taking their first lesson, a retiree returning to the instrument after a long separation, and everyone in between, our teachers will share their expertise and love of music and lay the foundation so that students may explore any type of music they desire.

Our voice teachers will design your lessons in a way that will meet the needs of each student, whether they are beginners or more mature musicians. Whether you're just starting out, getting ready for Western Regional or All-State, or you're preparing for auditions or performances, our voice teachers will be able to tend to your vocal needs.

Lisa Arkis, Director of the Wilton Music Studios has created something very special. The instruction is not only amazing but customized to fit the needs of each person. I've learned that great instructors who really love music, love teaching, inspire others and are willing to evaluate each student to figure out what is best for that student are superior. These are the kind of teachers at the Wilton Music Studios provides and they are hard to find anywhere. Hats off to Lisa and her team for finding them!

I highly recommend Wilton Music Studios! Scheduling of lessons couldn’t have easier and Peter has been incredibly flexible about accommodating my work schedule. He has an amazing teaching style and readily adapts his teaching plan to work on whatever problem I may be having.. As an adult, I am impressed with Peter's ability to steer me away from being self critical and help me focus on the joy of music

Not only is Lisa a great flutist she is also a great teacher with a genuine passion both for music and teaching. I have had Lisa as my flute teacher for two years, ever since she took over Wilton Music Studios (which also underwent a top to bottom renovation). Lisa is very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and has a unique way to approach (my) musical difficulties from different directions. I can highly recommend her for beginners as well as advanced students.
