Located on serene Turtle Beach, Island Reef is a Bay to Gulf privately-owned residential condominium complex, designed to meet the living, recreational, and social needs of individuals and families. Island Reef provides residents with a casual, friendly atmosphere, and maintains the highest standards for our facilities, grounds, and service for the enjoyment of our owners and renters.
The beach is accessible via a short boardwalk on the other side of the swimming pool on the Gulf side of Island Reef. We have a couple of fixed benches at the top of the beach where you will often find our residents and guests relaxing and checking out Siesta Key's amazing sunsets. Take your beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach gear and enjoy a day on the Gulf of Mexico.
Open from 8 am - 10 pm, our Library and Billiards Room can be found on the ground floor of Building H. The library contains hundreds of books that you are free to borrow while you are here. Please return them once you have finished with them. Interested in playing billiards but not sure of the rules.
Our boat docks, fishing pier, and kayak launch are all located at the end of a planked boardwalk on the Bay side of Island Reef. The fishing pier at the end of the dock has benches and a fish cleaning table. You will often find people fishing off the pier in the early evening. The kayak racks and kayak launch are nestled among the mangroves.
Island Reef is a very friendly community. We hold weekly social gatherings on our pool patios during season. Each month during season we host evening socials in our clubhouse. Our active community also holds book and card clubs. We have informal group outings to sporting events, the theater, ladies luncheons, art shows, the opera and more.
