During tax season there is an increase of criminals phishing. They try to gain your personal information by pretending to be from the IRS. There is also an individual that calls claiming you have a tax warrant, and you will be arrested. The irs will never threaten to send the police to your house, call and ask for credit card information, or ask that you purchase a gift card and send it as payment for over due taxes.
Last Year's tax return (if filed somewhere else); if you have it just bring it with you don't email it. Its to large to send via email, or document upload. Child care expenses (summarized by provider and amount) bring EIN number of day care center, or school if child is enrolled in private school nursery grade or younger.
When paying to prepare your taxes, we know you don't want to pay more than you have to. You don't want to pay for your Tax Preparer's Office expenses; such as advertisement, high rent, or people waving signs at passing cars. I wanted to let everyone know about my experience with GNA Tax Services. I was amazed with the professionalism and knowledge that Kelly exhibited while helping me with my tax return. She was able to advise me of deductions I was entitled to that I wasn't aware of. They also E filed it for me which will allow me to get my return ASAP.
