Villa Joseph Marie High School is a Catholic college-preparatory school committed to helping young women discern who they are and grow into the disciples God calls them to be, as revealed by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
The legacy of our foundress, Venerable Mother Maria Kaupas, and the Sisters of St. Casimir inspire the dedicated faculty and staff to provide a challenging environment and nurturing community which celebrates the dignity and uniqueness of each student and empowers young women through faith, education, and service, doing so in the spirit of "Always more, Always better, Always with love."

Sometimes, great stories evolve from humble beginnings. Such is the case with the saga of Villa Joseph Marie. Villa's story begins quietly and unassumingly with the arrival of a young Lithuanian immigrant, Casimira Kaupas, to the U.S. in 1897. After settling in Scranton, Pa., as a housekeeper for her brother-priest, Anthony, the 18-year-old Casimira experienced a personal epiphany and decided to commit herself to religious life.
We are delighted that your interest in Villa, whether as a student, parent, Alumna, or friend, has brought you to our online home. Founded and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Casimir, Villa Joseph Marie is a private Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women-the only one of its kind in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Of course we think so, but it is the job of our Admissions Office to help you make that all-important decision. Throughout the Admissions process, there are numerous opportunities for girls and their parents to learn more about Villa; meet with our students, parents, faculty and staff; tour our campus; and find out about our academic, extracurricular, spiritual, and social offerings.
The idea at the heart of a Villa Joseph Marie education is that every girl should have every chance to take her talents as far as she can. That philosophy has led our students to achieve some truly impressive academic accomplishments. Though they could rank at the top of the class at any school, our students find special opportunities at Villa.
