Damask Tattoo
I had been planning to open my own tattoo studio for years. I had started outlining a business plan five years before I opened. I would make notes in my business plan journal whenever something would occur to me. Sometimes it was from talking with a client or watching a client talk to another artist at one of the street shops I was working at.

Sometimes it was from helping out with a small bit of admin work at a studio. I started to formulate a plan for a tattoo studio where I would want to get tattooed. A place where people were treated with respect and could feel comfortable. Where they wouldn't have to wait for an hour or more for their appointment to start or for their artist to even show up to work.

Growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Laura spent a lot of time on the water and in the woods. As a kid she wanted to be an artist, paleontologist or bush pilot. With her passion for art and the realization that paleontologists starve and that aviation requires mathematics, it became clear where her future lay.
Jillian hails from the east & moved to the great Pacific Northwest in the fall of 2012 to live amidst the glorious Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. Lover of nature, science, and the occult, Jillian enjoys designing tattoos incorporating visual elements from any (or all!) of those themes. She is especially fond of working with botanical, animal, geological, and geometric imagery, as well as old-world religious/spiritual iconography.
From significant and transformative, to lighthearted and nostalgic, tattoos are in essence a discovery of the self. Your tattoo artist is a guide. While I wouldn't claim psychic abilities, per say, I do believe tattooing can elevate to an act of divination. Your tattoo already exists at another point in time, and together we'll collaborate to find out what it is and where it lives.
Jenny has been immersed in the art of tattooing since a young age. Her grandpa had a seahorse tattooed on his arm from his days in the navy. She became obsessed with the idea of tattoos once her grandfather explained that it wasn't a birthmark, explaining the process of tattooing to her. She decided, at that very moment, tattoos would be a large part of her life.
Lisa grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor's in Industrial Design. She began in the tattoo industry in 2014, shortly after graduating, and has been tattooing at Damask since April of 2018. She has always loved nature and as a child thought she would work in conservation or with animals.
