Norma is the absolute best. She takes pride in her profession, no one will ever leave her chair with a disaster cut, color, style or anything. I went to her after another so called beautician butchered my hair with a layer that resembled a shelf and over 6 inches cut off. I was really worried I was going to just deal with it till it grew back. Nope Norma wouldn't let that happen. She took her time and was genuinely interested in what I wanted. I will never let anyone but her do my hair.

After going to Norma, I have received a ton of compliments on both the color and cut of my hair! I have been searching for several years for someone who takes the time to really listen and gets the color and cut the way I want. Norma exceeded my expectations in every way and I am so excited that I found my hairdresser for life! And the icing on the cake is the charming and inviting atmosphere of her salon. I have been going to Norma for over 2 years. She does an excellent job on my volumizer, and extensions. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Had massive hair loss due to change in medication and I was told about Norma at Shear Genius Salon. I visited Norma and she explained to me what were the changes she could do for me to include maintenance and upkeep. I opted for Norma's suggestions to include human hair piece and extensions. Found out through Norma that she had to be trained and certified for this process. Norma worked magic and now I have HAIR. I can shampoo and dry my hair and not worry about hair loss. When I brush my hair it's all so natural because it's human hair and you can't see where the added piece and extensions are

I had highlights done elsewhere and the color ended up almost a solid blonde and too blonde for my skin tone. I could not bare to even look at myself in the mirror. The color wasn't me. Norma is the BEST! First of all I love the setup and vibe of the salon, so cute in there! Also, I came in because my hair was long, heavy, brassy, and just all around in need of some love. Norma gave me a beautiful hair color that I’m obsessed with and gave me such a beautiful cut that fits my style and gave my hair so much health back. Over the years, I have had horrible experiences with hair stylists and had pretty much gotten to the point I only went in to trim the ends and nothing more. Due to allergies and hair loss, I only used the most natural of hair products on my hair and covered my grays with pure henna, something I learned from YouTube. It looked okay, but over the years, I had this long scraggily pyramid looking mess that I always kept in a pony tail or a clip.

Norma is a firecracker who will make you laugh throughout your appointment. She will take the time to listen to your wants, needs, and any concerns you might have. I chose this salon based on proximity to my home and positive reviews here and Norma did not disappoint. I sent her pictures of my color and cut ideas and when I arrived she shared color samples with me to ensure we were on the same page. She is very friendly and made the time go by very fast. Her salon is also very comfortable and inviting. I'm very happy with the results and that's saying a lot because I'm extremely picky. I will certainly be back to see her again!

The owner of Shear Genius, Norma, does a great job on my color and on my extensions. I have very thin, fine blonde hair and she makes it look like I have hair with volume. Norma has been coloring, cutting and styling my hair for several months now. She's always very attentive and listens to what I want done with my hair. I have been seeing Norma at Shear Genius for several years now and have always walked away happy. I did Brazilian Blowouts and loved the results. More recently I've decided to add volume to my long, fine hair and have been getting extensions. Norma offers great services and very fair prices. I've always loved my colors and cuts as well!
