We are a husband/wife photography team that tells the story of your wedding day with compelling images that capture the moments and convey an experience. We are a husband and wife team who have been photographing weddings in Maine and the New England area (and beyond) for 13 years and have shot over 300 weddings together.
Our style is modern and candid, moody and romantic, with elements of fine art and photojournalism. Throughout the years one of the biggest compliments that we have received continually from clients is how comfortable we make them feel and helpful we are on the wedding day. Services
Our shared love of photography (Jessica's degree is in Photojournalism and Lyle had been shooting film most of his life) was one of the things that drew us to each other when we first met. Interestingly we didn't hire wedding photographers when we got married and just had our family take a few photos (and you can imagine how well those turned out!), which is one of our biggest regrets.
We consider it at honor to document a couple's wedding day and would love to speak with you more!. On average couples spend between $4500-10,500 on their wedding collection with us. Elopement average $1500-4000. Please contact us through our form for a quote! In order to provide the best service and attention to our clients we only accept 10 weddings per year.
This was a great decision, as we ended up working with them twice (once for an elopement session in 2020 and once for our rescheduled wedding in 2021) and had great experiences both times! Jessica and Lyle are both easy to be around, which was greatly helpful in making everyone comfortable throughout the day.
We know there are lots of wedding photographers out there and choosing one can be an overwhelming process. You should look carefully at their portfolio -- ask to view a full wedding gallery of theirs and fall in love with the style, first and foremost.
Make sure they have experience shooting real weddings (some photographers do a lot of styled/model shoots which are totally different than a wedding day!) and shooting in different weather and lighting conditions (it's important!)Do the photos move you? Maine is quickly becoming one of the most sought after places to elope in the US and with all of the stunning locations here it is easy to see why! There are so many locations to choose from including the stunning, rocky coastline to the beaches, forests, hills, mountains, city - Maine has so much to offer!

Fidelio Photography is one of the first and best choices we made for our wedding day--hands down. We fell in love with their photos online and even after doing more research, couldn't help but feel that they captured that *something special* in their couples. Jess and Lyle are so easy to get along with and we felt really comfortable around them, which I think makes for better photos. We have so many favorites from our wedding (not to mention the engagement session as well--which we would totally recommend!) that it will be a pleasant challenge to pick which ones end up on our wall. I'm an artist, so the photography for our wedding was SO important to me. As soon as I saw Fidelio's website I was so blown away by how creative and unique each photo was. No two weddings looked the same and each candid moment was captured so beautifully. The wedding day goes by so fast and the photos are the only thing that lasts forever. Jess and Lyle did an absolutely perfect job preserving our day. Looking back at our photos takes me right back to our wedding day. We cannot thank you two enough!

Jess and Lyle did our wedding at my family’s farm in Poland, ME. Not only did they perfectly capture the magic of the day, but they also tuned right into the magic of this place that I have loved so dearly for my whole life. The pictures are beyond perfect and I will treasure them for always. In addition to being incredibly talented and professional photographers, they are also easy to work with, flexible, super nice, etc. So yeah, they are basically a dream.

My husband and I live in DC, but planned a destination wedding in Maine. We both knew hiring a good photographer was at the top of our list of wedding priorities, and we're so lucky that we were able to lock in Jessica and Lyle to do our engagement and wedding shoots.

I was blown away the minute I saw Fidelio Photography's website. I felt like I knew these couples and I could feel the energy of their wedding day simply by looking at their pictures. As soon as I spoke with Jessica on the phone my decision was made. On top of being sweet, friendly and totally easy to work with, we both had the same style and vision of the way we wanted these memories captured. I was focused more on candid, natural shots along with some really unique portraits. Jess and Lyle were totally relaxed and calming but also knew when to take charge to make sure things sped along when needed
