An expert orthodontic assistant with more than 20 years of experience. Donya is adored by parents and patients alike. She is a very special and kind person. We are very lucky to have her as part of our team. Outside of the office, she stays busy raising three wonderful children with her awesome husband, Brad.
There are many factors to consider when choosing an orthodontist. First, one must consider the difference between a dentist and an orthodontist. To be called an orthodontist, one must first complete dental school. Upon completion of dental school, the dentist must apply and be accepted into a very competitive, full-time residency program lasting between 2-3 years.
As a parent, you want the best for your child. That includes healthy teeth and a pleasing smile. At Wilson Orthodontics, our goal is to treat your children as if they were our own, by providing them with the best possible orthodontic care. All Kids Should Get an Orthodontic Check-Up By Age 7: To have a smile that's long lasting and more importantly healthy, your child needs proper tooth and jaw alignment - in other words, a healthy bite.
You're never too old to benefit from orthodontic treatment. However, there may be factors such as periodontal disease, gingival recession, and other factors that are contraindications for orthodontic treatment. Each adult patient must have optimal oral health and receive a thorough clinical examination with proper radiographic evidence to be considered a candidate for braces.

Wilson Orthodontics is one of the best businesses I’ve ever came in contact with! I’ve only been seeing Dr. Wilson for six months but I feel completely welcome and loved with each visit! Karina makes you feel so welcomed every time you walk in the front door and Donya is one of the best I’ve ever seen! I would HIGHLY recommend Wilson Orthodontics!

Excellent practice with a warm, caring staff! Everything is explained in detail from the first appointment/consultation to each visit afterwards. The results are phenomenal! My oldest daughter is ecstatic with her new smile and my next is starting treatment in a couple of weeks. Thank you Josh and Karina for being great at what you do!

I have never reviewed anyone good or bad, but I had to post about how impressed I am with Dr. Wilson and his staff. It more than obvious that he cares about his patients and puts their needs first. He mentioned to me in my brief conversation with him the he loves what he does and this is evident by the passion he displays when talking to him. I did not actually visit in person but wanted to leave a review based on the service I received over the phone. Karina was so kind and helpful! I called several places over a holiday weekend, and she was the first to get back to me and went out of her way to find specific information that I requested. A top-notch front office staff is so vital, and they definitely have that. I will definitely visit if I have a future need.

Dr. Wilson was exactly what I was hoping we’d find in our children’s orthodontist. He was extremely kind, warm, inviting, informative, thorough and patient! Dr Wilson will do everything he can to make sure that you are happy with your smile. He is very detail oriented! The whole group is very caring. We love Dr.Wilson and their whole staff. Dr. Wilson’s desire is to give your child the best treatment plan and be personally involved in the whole process by doing each adjustment himself. He also is a huge encourager and really seeks to build up your child along the way!! We lived in AL where my two older daughters had braces before we moved to TN, and Dr.Wilson is by far the best orthodontic experience we’ve had!
