Dr. David Kemp earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Dr. Kemp earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Kemp is the best! After repeated failures by other orthodontists to correct my daughter's teeth, he was able to straighten them perfectly. If you could just see her smile now! The Kemp and Rice Orthodontics' office in Franklin is located at 500 Royal Oaks Court directly across the street from the Franklin YMCA. This free-standing building offers patients ample parking and close proximity to the Franklin City Schools, many of the Williamson County schools as well as our area's private schools.

The Kemp and Rice Orthodontics' office in Brentwood is located in the City Park Center in Building Two, Suite 350. Both of my boys were treated by Dr. Kemp and I couldn’t be happier. I consulted with more than one orthodontist prior to selecting Dr. Kemp. My initial experience was vastly different with Dr. Kemp. At our initial consultation it was evident that his practice operated totally different than another well known ortho here in town. Dr. Kemp did a thorough evaluation of both boys, he talked not only to me but directly to the kids explaining what he would do, how it would work, and how long the process would take. I went out of my comfort zone.. in my 30s!!! 15 out of 10 recommend Kemp and Rice. I expected a couple years with braces. 14 months later, I'm done and my smile looks great! This team went above and beyond to accommodate my appointments. I live in FL and traveled to Spring Hill whenever they said because of their exceptional care. No way I would've changed to someone else. You won't regret going!

We had heard good things about Kemp & Rice Orthodontics prior to our son requiring braces, but a referral from his dentist was what sent us there. From the very first consultation, Dr. Kemp and the entire staff made us feel welcomed and confident in our decision to use this practice. Communication about the process was phenomenal, appointments were on time, and they were quick to respond when we had issues like broken wires. They also went out of their way to help my son figure out how to use his rubber bands when he got home and couldn't figure out how to get them on the brackets. Now we're done

The front office and staff are awesome! They squeezed us in at the last minute before closing for the weekend, when my daughter’s expander needed another adjustment suddenly. Dr. Rice, Destiny and the staff were gracious and accommodating for us, and we’re so grateful! It’s a very professional and clean facility, and both Dr. Kemp and Dr. Rice, as well as all the staff are courteous, friendly and professional. By far the friendliest, attentive, and customer service oriented staff there is. This is without a doubt the best orthodontist that I found. They were fair and reasonable when it came to price, and on how long I would be in braces. Whenever there was an issue they were willing to help me out to the best of their ability. Would recommend them, over any competition.
