Services
Our mission is to further Waldorf Education by building a center for family support and early childhood education inspired by Waldorf philosophy. Through creating parenting workshops, cultivating festival life and holding early childhood classes, we support mothers-to-be, new families and young children (birth to seven).
The Apple Blossom School and Family Center was founded in Wilton, Connecticut in the Spring of 2004 by Jessica Khoshabo, Erika Loker, and Marcia Marquis with the help of an enthusiastic and supportive parent body. We opened the doors of our temporary home in the Gilbert & Bennet School Building in Fall 2004.
Apple Blossom Waldorf School and Family Center is inspired by Waldorf education. Founded in Europe in 1919, Waldorf education is based on a profound understanding of human development that addresses the needs of the growing child. Waldorf's time-tested pedagogy is designed to address the whole child: head, heart and hands.

Apple Blossom is a truly wonderful school for young children. In this fast-paced world, it is a gift to be able to slow down and allow the children to explore their curiosity, motivation and imagination. The teachers are so calming and nurturing. They are passionate about their commitment to the children and help parents to navigate the challenges that arise when raising young children.

Apple Blossom is truly a gem - it's provided a gentle, caring, and family oriented setting for my daughter to learn and grow in over the past three years. My wife and I have been continually impressed with the staff, programming, and extracurricular events. Also in a very convenient location on Route 7!

Very warm and attentive teachers. My son gained a lot from his interaction with the other toddlers and parents and the child development lessons I’m learning are invaluable. I’m so happy I am a part of the AppleBlossom family. If you are seeking a Waldorf education for your child I highly recommend you consider this school which fosters creative play, problem solving social skills and stimulates the imagination!
