A cataract is a slow, progressive clouding of the eye's natural lens. It interferes with light passing through the eye to the retina. Cataracts are caused by a change in the proteins of the lens, which causes clouding or discoloration. Over time cataracts typically result in blurred or fuzzy vision and sensitivity to light or glare.
Glaucoma is a group of diseases that can lead to damage to the eye's optic nerve and result in blindness. Open-angle glaucoma, the most common form of glaucoma, affects about 3 million Americans, half of whom don't know they have it. It has no symptoms at first, but over the years it can cause permanent loss of vision.

Terrible office experience. Office staff was condescending. Optometrist was lost as to understanding what my needs were. Our communication became a frustrating debate over my prescription at the lobby reception desk. I would never go back.
The Ophthalmologist had a hard time making my glasses because of how the prescriptions were written.
PS. Of course they tried to sell me some $400 frames. Yea right

I wish I could give this place 0 stars!
My first appt, I was made to wait 1.5 hours, was seen by some inexperienced assistant that prescribed the wrong lens prescription, even when I repeatedly told her I couldn’t see. Her mistake was corrected by another assistant, who took an hour longer to actually get me out of the office. I was never seen by the doctor I was told I would see, and was seen by some other random doctor, for maybe five minutes at the end. They charged extra fees than listed. My second appointment, I had a very similar experience! Was made to wait way too long, and no issues

These are the rudest people ever. Because I believe in second chances, this is the second time I've gone to pick up my glasses, and they've treated me like I'm an idiot and like their time is important, but mine is not. All I needed to do was pick up a pair of glasses. I didn't need a fitting or a consultation. It shouldn't have taken any more time than picking up a pack of gum at a convenience store, but the three people who were sitting in the reception area couldn't be bothered to get the glasses, because it wasn't their job. No more chances! There are plenty of other optometrists!
