Bali Home Furnishings was started in 2000 by Norm Keller, who retired in 2014. Bali Home Furnishings LLC then took over the business and is managed by Martin Mote, who is also the importer. We import sustainable wood furniture and sculpture from the islands of Bali and Java in Indonesia, and Asian garden pots from Vietnam and China.
All of our teak, mahogany, and suar wood furniture are from sustainable sources, and no rainforest degradation occurs in their procurement. Reclaimed teak is that which is salvaged from old buildings - primarily in Java - and much of it is several hundred years old. Plantation grown teak is certified as legal by an Indonesian government agency before it is harvested, and many more teak trees are planted for each one harvested.

High-fired Vietnamese and Chinese garden pots will last for many years. The same firing process that makes them so durable also imparts exceptional beauty to the glaze. Our teak furniture is Tectona Grandis from Java - the very best. Beautiful, built strong, and long-lasting, it is ideally suited to withstand the Pacific Northwest climate, and we offer it for a fraction of prices found elsewhere.
Our outdoor teak furniture is legally harvested teak from Java, Indonesia, of the sub-species Tectona Grandis - widely considered the finest in the world. The quality and appearance are outstanding, and because of teak's natural resiliency it will last from 35 to 75 years in the Pacific Northwest climate.
At Bali Home Furnishings you will find some of the most impressive indoor furniture. Many pieces are eclectic, while others look like antiques. Most are made of either reclaimed old teak, new plantation-grown teak, or mahogany. Many are simple in design, and others incorporate elaborate carvings that are several hundred years old.
You will find a large variety of benches at Bali Home Furnishings. These range from dining benches that match specific tables, to large daybed benches made of reclaimed old teak and featuring carvings dating back hundreds of years. Whether you need a settee for the bedroom, an attractive bench for the foyer, or a magnificent daybed bench for your outdoor living space, you will always find a great selection in a variety of styles and woods.
You will find dining chairs in many styles at Bali Home Furnishings, all made of plantation-grown teak. For those who prefer cushioned dining chairs, any of our chairs can be upholstered by our in-store upholstery partner, and with our incredibly low prices you will have plenty of savings for the perfect upholstery to match your design scheme.

Marty, and the merchandise, at this local GEM of a store are simply wonderful. Marty travels across the earth to bring unique and 1st Class items to Oregon.
My husband and I have been frequent customers and have always found a special new item to add to our home and yard and home, and have been treated respectfully, and with a smile.
We are sorry that one of our favorite shops, ever, is closing up shop until they find another location.
Our best to you, Marty, and thank you for gracing our lives and our home/garden.

A hidden gem!! In addition to finding the perfect outdoor pots, I found several furniture pieces for my home that blend with the existing rustic-modern decor. The owner Marty is a gem as well. He helped me design a beautiful food grade Acacia wood top for my kitchen island. I was working on a budget for all of these items and was so pleased to get fair prices, excellent customer service and high quality all at the same time!

Picked up some great looking pots here for an unbelievable price. Im not a furniture expert, but some of the wood looked like it might not be kiln dried and will warp and crack so buyer beware. I personally like the aesthetic of aging green wood and would definitely pick up some pieces here for my patio if I had one. Really fun shop to look around in, lots of great tables, chairs, and decorations.

We were guided from the start around a huge warehouse space packed to the brim with beautiful furniture, all wood, a lot of it reclaimed, from cool places like fishing boats. From there we were shown in to a huge section of high fired pottery, most from Vietnam or China, a lot of it hand made, the rest hand poured. Beautiful colors winked at us from every direction, and we found that perfect pot we were looking for. We'll be back for some teak patio furniture soon. staff is excellent, and helpful but not overbearing. Selection is amazing, prices are fair.

Stopped by this place for the first time yesterday for a little garden pot. Little did I know that I was about to step into a glorious hidden gem! Teak furniture and beautiful decor pieces from Java, Indonesia and Bali three storerooms deep! You would never know how big this place is from the storefront! I did buy a garden pot and then I went back the next day and ended up getting a large decorative stand, a rosewood flowerpot/decor piece and I also put in a custom order for a teak buffet table. I'm hooked. Once we start renovating our backyard, I will be back for the outdoor furniture! Martin

This is one of the most awesome furniture places out there! The reclaimed teak furniture that has been made from varieties of places is beautiful and solid. Every piece is unique. There are some tables that are extremely long and intricate and pieces that are perfect for remodeling bathrooms too. The other tropical woods are also fantastic and some have been carved into fun items like dolphin or turtle end tables. The pottery in the back is also unique. Some glazes have been applied at over 2300F to create some rich colors. Great for gardening, landscaping, or even conversion to a fountain! The
