Services
Haywood's Jewelers started in Rocky Mount, VA in 1953 as Kingoff's Jewelers. A young Rudy Haywood was the manager. Ten years later Haywood purchased the business from Kingoff and changed the name to Haywood's. As Haywood's grew, Harold Ingram joined the staff in 1968, quickly learning every aspect of the business.
As full service jewelry store, repairs are done on-site by our knowledgeable and experienced team. We have GIA certified staff and appraisals are among the services offered. Other services include: custom jewelry creation, remounting, jewelry cleaning, rhodium finishing, sizing and jewelry repair. From making a new custom piece to fixing your everyday jewelry we are here to serve you.
Cut refers not only to a diamond's shape, but more importantly to its proportions. A well-proportioned diamond brings out the maximum beauty. A diamond cut too deep or too shallow loses light through the side or bottom, resulting in loss of brilliance. Clarity is the degree to which a diamond is free from inclusions and blemishes, which can hinder the light as it passes through your diamond.

Garnet comes in virtually a rainbow of colors, from deep red to rich orange and golden hues, striking greens and petal-soft colors of violet and lavender. Amethyst is a gemstone variety of quartz. Charity was fantastic with her knowledge and guidance in helping me recreate my wedding ring. I wanted it to have the same look but add a couple of stones. She found the perfect stones and was able to show pictures of exactly how it would turn out. In the end it turned out amazing! Haywoods has the best customer service and they truly care about each client and their needs.

They know their business and have a complete understanding of the items they are showing you.
