Area Glass and Mirror Co. was founded in 1977 in Antioch, Illinois. It has been family owned and operated for two generations, and we hope to keep it going with the third! We take tremendous pride in our work and are involved in every step of the process. We live in Antioch, have raised our families here, and strive to serve the community as much as we can by supporting other local businesses.

We have been expanding since we opened our doors and are currently working on a new addition to our building!

Area Glass is a family owned, family operated business which has loyally dedicated itself to quality service and customer satisfaction since 1977. Heavy glass shower enclosures are very popular. Every enclosure is fabricated individually to ensure a custom fit, lasting quality, and magnificent results.

Flat Glass and Screens Report

We build new screen inserts for all applications. Anything from new patio door sliders to a custom screen porch, we can help out. We also can re-screen your current frames with a variety of different weave options and colors. We work with all types of flat glass and mirrrors. We can custom cut most types of glass including patterned glass, laminated glass, and general glass for things like cabinet doors and picture frames.

I needed lids for my fish tank, lots of cuts of glass i couldnt do. They helped me out with a super fair price and my fish and i couldnt be happier.

This company and staff are clearly the BEST! Thank you Jeff and Chase. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are extremely busy, taking care of schools, etc. However, they found time for our gazebo screening project. They are dependable, conscientious and fair priced. Their work is amazing and the results are simply beautiful. I highly recommend them.

I took 2 double glazed windows for repair. Instead what they do is measure and fabricate new ones. I went with that arrangement. They got it done in 4 days which was quick for me. Real nice quality factory duplicates which fit perfectly in the original space. I placed the window myself, since I am kind of handy. Was very pleased with the repair. I would take more windows to them as they were very professional.

They just came to my house and fixed a couple of broken windows. The gentleman showed up right on time, was very professional, and had the job done quickly and cleanly. I don't get impressed often but when I am I love to share. HIGHLY recommended !!!

Excellent customer service. Quick turnaround time. Reasonable prices. Don't waste your time at Ace Hardware or other place that doesn't specialize in doors and windows.
