Services
Charlotte Village Winery was founded in 2001 by fourth generation Vermonters, William & Colleen Pelkey, and their son Will Pelkey. We started to produce blueberry wines with the blueberries from our 10 acre field in 2001. Our winery was completed in 2004, and we began producing several different types of wines.
At Charlotte Village Winery, we're more than just a place to enjoy a bottle of wine. We want to be a destination, and an experience you remember and look forward to. Whether you're a local stopping by to stock up, or a tourist visiting Vermont for the first time, we want you to have an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Looking for the best wine in Vermont? Ok, we can't officially make that claim, but both first-time visitors to Vermont and locals alike will tell you that this is some pretty good stuff. We have a unique variety of wines that will please any palate. If you like reds, perhaps try our Cabernet Sauvignon.
Sure, we can talk all day about why you should take a scenic drive through Vermont to come visit us and try our wine, but why not let the people do the talking? The following are just a few of the reviews we've gotten in the past couple years. I absolutely love the Raspberry Wine and my husband is not much of a wine drinker but he also enjoys this one!

I would not recommend especially for an event! I had my daughters bridal shower there in July and was told that we would pay $100 for a case of wine and $100 for use of the winery. They were late and setting up our tables so we had to hurry to get things ready, they left the tasting room open which we were told $100Was for private use of space. People were walking through the shower to get to the tasting room how to tell some of them that the food that we had out was not for the public and also we had to tell people that they needed to be off the deck as we were having a private function! This was my second favorite winery I visited on my trip to New England. It had a wonderful view, the owner was very sweet, prices were very good, and the wine itself, was second only to the La Bell vineyard in New Hampshire. Thank you for the best blueberry wine period! The peach and apple crisp were close second and third.. to me. And to anyone reading, I loved the Shelburne vineyard down the road, but this, even being "fruit wine," was the better wine.

Small but charming tasting room overlooking a blueberry field. Majority of non- fruit wines were made from Californian grapes, but the fruit wines were local. These fruit wines were surprisingly delicious. In particular, the blueberry varietals included a dry, semi-dry, and dessert wine which allowed for a full appreciation of the range and versatility of the berry. Prices were reasonable and tastings are free if you end up purchasing a bottle. Highly recommended.
